Warcraft 2. Beat it when I was 11. Had no clue what a cheat code was, hadn't even heard of it. It stands as my personal "I'm the Best!" award. You know, because I felt so proud about myself.

Earthbound, in getting most of the legendary weapons in one runthrough, including the Sword of Kings, The Legendary Bat (from the Bionic Kraken), Magic Frypan and Goddess Ribbon. I didn't get the star pendant, Sadly.

(For those unfamiliar, these are 1/128 chance items that are Really chance items. They are not certain to get, and every damn encounter has those odds--it's a feat getting one of those items, believe you me. It was just a really, Really lucky playthrough that I grabbed all of them).

Hmm, I can't recall too well.

It was either Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World (Most likely), Super Mario 64, or Crash Bandicoot 2.

The very first Wizards and Warriors on the NES, a friend of mine just gave me the game because it was too hard for him and he hated it. For some reason I just took to it and beat the game over a weekend, by the end I felt like a god.

I tried playing it again last year and couldn't make it past the first few stages... that game is really quite hard.

Super Mario World, beat it when I was like five. This was a few years before I got my first console (N64) but my older cousin had a SNES and I absolutely loved that game. Actually come to think of it, thats still my favorite Mario game.

I would have to say both Golden Sun games. Watching the credits roll up in the first game, i couldn't even believe it, that game had me wanting more! So when i tracked down a copy of GS:TLA i was glued to my GBA until i watched the credits roll and had gotten every Djinn and all the best weapons in the game. Finishing the game had me throwing my hands up and shouting "Hell yeah!"

for me... i would have to say Legend of Legaia on the playstation 1 ... god that game kicked ass and at times was hard as hell :D .. also Azure Dreams, that was a game worth racking up 200+ hours of game time..

Lego Racers.
Now, it's a game aimed at children, and is supposed to be simple to complete. Let me tell you, the last boss is a REAL pain in the ass.
Luckily, it's only one race, and eventually I beat it.
Now the Time Trial section on the other hand...
I feel your pain man.

SIMCITY 4!

And that means: every square filled with some building, road, park, something, etc... in every city... on one map total.

This was my life's work re: video gaming. Took over 200 hours total.
