Either The Secret of Monkey Island or Maths Blaster. I'm not sure which but I have fond memories of them.

You play as a old wizzard killing of monsters with your magic and staff. I can't remember if it was 2D or 3D
And at the same time I started playing WIKINGS where u play as 3 wikins, each with a differrent talent: one runs, one has a shield and one a sword. And u have to solve puzzles and excape monsters. =))

umm... Mega Man III on GameBoy (no color). It might have been II though. My father allowed me to play on his when I was younger.

but if we're talking about games that were actually fun, then my earliest gaming memory would be playing Crash Bandicoot on my ginger friend's PS1.
which reminds me, he didnt realise that the game was from before the time of the analog sticks. he couldnt even navigate the menus when he first got it. this apparently lasted for several days until i came along, pointed at the d-pad and said "errr....try this."

I guess I would have to say Pong...but for the one that I first got really hooked on and played all day I would have to say Adventure for the Atari 2600. First game to ever include an "easter egg"!

Sega Genesis... not sure what the game was, i think it was x-men, phantasy star 4(you know i just realized they horribly misspelt that name...), shining force 2, or gunstar heroes

The first game I *remember* playing is the original Super Mario Bros. when I was 4. My parents had an Atari (2600 I think) and we played Pac Man and Pole Position when I was a bit younger though
