The first game you ever played: Have you mastered it or is it still difficult?

The fisrt console I got my hands on was PS1 so my first owned game was Abe's Oddysee, it wasn't by far the first game I had ever played (and I can't even quite remember what that was) but it was the first I officially owned, and yes I played it, and yes, it still drives me mad with difficulty -_- In fact, I've only just realised how difficult it actually is, how the hell would I have ever saved all 99 Mudokons as a kid if I have this much trouble doing it now as an adult. Thats the 10th time I've tried to get that stupid mudokon past that grinder for him to keep getting chopped to pieces

Sonic the Hedgehog. The levels in that game are seared into my brain.

Don't remember the exact first... But I'm a master of some of my earliest games, Harry Potter 2 for GBA, and Ape Escape 2. I've also mastered Ape Escape, and Ape Escape 3 as a result.

Fuck your CoD, Halo, Mass Effect and Burnout, Ape Escape is the greatest series of all time.

I can't say that, can it be first game I owned? If so I say Mickey Mouse Magical Quest on the SNES (4 years old and I beat that game, and still love it today). First game I played.......i don't remember I was 2 years old and it was an atari game...maybe pitfall..

Just started playing that, its a nice but achievable challenge so far but we'll see how I do in a few levels xD

Pokemon Blue. I could play that game in my sleep by now, I've beaten it so many times. It may not be hard anymore, but it's still damn fun.

Star wars Jedi Knight Dark forces 2. Mastered it as a kid, so no problems now either.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. I can beat it 100% in less than 4 hours.

Is it weird that I have beaten things like demons souls, and play most games on hard first time round and yet this crappy RPG's final boss still kicks my ass everytime I try? to note the last time I took a blast at this game was about 3 months ago.... why can't I beat him!!!!

The first game I recall playing is Pitfall!, and I wouldn't say I mastered it, but I still get a lot of fun pulling it out once in a while and seeing how far I can get.
