The first game I loved was Jak and Daxter. The original trilogy were some of the best games I ever played before they went into the crap about racing.

Second was ratchet and clank.

Final Fantasy IV. I was like 8 at the time and kept renting it over and over again despite not knowing how to properly play the game and getting stuck at the same place over and over again. It was the first game I played that actually told a story and because of that it was also the first game where I actually felt some kind of connection with the characters and wanted to get further into the game to find out what was going to happen to everyone.

Same here I've only been gaming for like 4 years (I'm 14) but I still remember the christmas I got my first ever console (ps2) with jak and dexter. Then I got Ratchet and clank and completely fell inlove with the story and gameplay. All though Ratchet and clank had way better gameplay and storyline compared to Jak 1 Ill still never forget them two games.

Vagrant Story. A dark JRPG with plenty of atmosphere and interesting characters. Hard to find in this day and age.

Oh pokemon red, the long hrs we spent together. The countless days ya spent caressed in my palms~ the hundreds of batteries I provided for you to feast on. I loved you pekemon red, I wanted you inside me. I wanted you to look into my eyes and never let go.

While there where games that I loved beyond entertainment value before I played this like Chrono Trigger and Resident Evil, the game I am most in love with is the Mass Effect series. I am utterly and completely in love with Liara and Tali. I have never romanced Tali before because I usually play a FemShep but I am playing a MaleShep for the first time and romancing her and really enjoying it despite MaleShep having a much less talented voice actor. As for Liara, I will stay faithful to her! I swear it!

Hmmm hard question indeed. I have been playing videogames since i was two years old . But a game that went beyon just entertainement value couldn't have been at that age . No , not until much later could that have happened . I'll have to say something fairely recent: Lost oddesey . That game made me realise just at what point games can be art , games can bring out emotion in a person , a game can make me reflect on life and contemplate , that games are meant not only to be played but experienced.

Anyways i really thing lost odessey is a gem , a very deep and interesting game.

It was probably Sands of Time for me, too. I remember my best friend and I played through it at the same time and we couldn't stop talking about it. We were in fifth grade so we probably didn't really understand why we loved it, but looking back its clear that its about more than just fun gameplay. Still one of my favorite games of all time (though Shadow of the Colossus has to be number 1)
