The First Monthly "Parade of Avatars!"

Ok, going along with the title I always find it interesting how often my friends on the escapist change there avatars. So I thought I'd throw something together for all those who change there avatars "very often" to "once in a while". Now, don't just post any random thing just to show off your avatar. Post why you chose it and why you like it and even, if you want to, give a shout out to fellow escapist's avatars you like the best.

P.S. On the whole "monthly" thing, let's just see how this first one does.

Mine of course is dugtrio in real life finger form and he is still my favorite pokemon. Go originals!

I chose mine because I think the dance is rather cute.

When I do get a picture of me digitized I'll be sure to change it to that.

Mine is a violinist, not because i can play, or even because i know anything about playing, but because its what you do when you want to make fun of someone elses' angst. I have to do that a lot...

I picked my original one as i loved blackadder and the season 2 pic was awesome of Rowan Atkinson, then i got fanboy to do a halloween version, which i say is very impressive

When it comes to forums, I very rarely change my avatar. A lot of people identify people better (myself, included) by their avatar, rather than their actual name.

The reason I chose mine was because I absolutely love Drakengard and Caim is definitely my favorite character and since Drakengard doesn't seem common (at all), I figured it would be quite different. And like I said, it's simply I enjoy and won't mind wearing for forever.

For a short time I had Lorna Doom, but then I remembered that Halloween is coming up, so I switched to a more appropriate one.

I chose my avatar because Cyric is not only the God in D&D that I like the most but he is the God that I, as a person, would like to be. Vengeful, plotting and deceptive, constantly attempting to dethrone the higher Gods in order to gain more power. Cyric doesn't let anyones petty ideals or moral issues get in the way of his success. Yet, under his hideously evil exterior, he has a code of honour, like Helm.

He's just Chaotic Evil about it.

My previous one was based off a anime I happened to be watching and thoroughly enjoying. This new one is for the precise same reason and because the anime in question has moments of absolute insanity. I have another in mind based from this pic.

This is because his demonic powers awaken and take control every time halloween comes around.

Thanks, I just found this anime by chance when someone on here posted a music video using it. I wiki'd, went to Youtube... and watched the entire first season in about three or four days. I love it and the continual mind screwing it does.

Also Rena-chan... with a cleaver <3 but insane Shion, now that is something. One of those "... good god." moments and one I happily would watch more than once.
