I showed no remorse in facing off with my mortal enemy, I ran full force towards him, I could feel the tension rise as the sweat glistened off my character's pixelated form, he makes the jump has I issue the command, my vision blurrs, what has happened during the ensuing conflict?
I'm too scared to open my eyes...

I hear a satifying "Blip", I deem it safe to open my eyes...
I see the enemy flash from existance, Mario standing proud in his squashed, lower form.
and I realise...

I have just taken a life...

OoT Redead. That thing scared the hell out of me! I was playing at my friends house, I went into the town and almost shit myself (I was 4) I destroyed all of them, I thought they were gonna come out of the screen and get me... That is one of my favorite memories.
