Death Rally.

Awesome game.

You start off with a crappy little buggy, and keep racing to win money, buy new cars, and upgrade them. Also, you can play as Duke Nukem. Very addictive, but I recommend starting from the first difficulty setting.

Runescape is a free online game.
No it has premium accounts, https://secure.runescape.com/m=weblogin/l=1/a=16/members/members.ws
They give you fullscreen mode more ad better skills no ads etc and cost real world money.

I would recommend best rpg i've played in a long time, very creative and varied quests, great graphics and immersive game world and great (and made by professionals) voiceacting. Only 2 issues: It requires Oblivion and its not fully translated into english, the german version is available and rules though :) Still not sure whether it counts as free since its a mod

You will be interested to know that Alien Swarm comes with the source development kit, which is the only thing required to play soucemods, look on the steampage under features :) Just relized that a few minutes ago

http://store.steampowered.com/app/630/ Here on the right side it mentions that you also get source sdk with it.

Combat Arms. Probably one of the best MMOFPSs out there. Outstanding Graphics for a free-to-play and incredibly addicting.

Although Hackers are annoying but for me, its worth it.

Try Combat Arms. If you thought Modern Warfare 2 was bad you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Yeah,I thought about these games, like Combat Arms,Operation 7,but they're not completely free, they still have item shops.

World of Opportunities. It's WoW but free. Yes, it's illegal if you don't buy a copy of the game first but this way you don't pay subscriptions and you can download the whole thing, with expansions, for free.
Altough it's not relevant,I'm curious, are there many people on that server, because I know there are a ton of private servers out there, especially fun servers.
Yeah it's like the 2 largest or something and it's strictly Blizzlike.

This thread lacks DTXmania. First of all download links for the game and songpacks;
http://www.gdamania.net/files/ and http://www.gdamania.net/files/

And here's the game that it simulates. I didn't bother getting a PC clip because then all you will see is the screen which is not as interesting to watch.
So basically you play by pressing buttons in the rythm of the song, instead of hiting the drums?

Yeah well all free-to-play games have an Item Shop like that.
