It has been 2011 years since the birth of Christ then he died around the age of 30 so 1981 then it took 50 years before the gospels were written down so 1931...huuu must have made a miss calculation in my first estimated but yea the original bible (just old testament is 5000 years old) and the new bible (Christian book which includes the old testament and new testament) is about 1931 years old.Realitycrash said:

The original Bible was a compilation of books in Hebrew and Greek, which eventually become compiled into a single Latin book called the Vulgate, written in about 400AD by Saint Jerome. Most if not all modern translations are descendant from the Vulgate.Realitycrash said:
