So after watching Terminator 2 I remember thinking "Why hasn't this been made into some sort of open world GTA style sandbox game?? Think about it, you would play as your own customizable terminator to play as (because terminators don't have to look like Arnold). You would then be sent back to the 2000s to defend a young John Connor and other members of his future army from terminators in the future. The game would be sandboxed based and every time you died another terminator who looks exactly like you would be sent back from the future to take your fallen place (kind of like Destroy All Humans). Going through the game you would fight various human opponents along with different terminators like the T-1000 and the T-X. The game could also feature some twist ending about the series crazy take on time travel. It would be similar to The Matrix Path of Neo?s ending except you would end up fighting something crazy from the past like a dinosaur or a samurai (or maybe a samurai riding a dinosaur).

Anyways that?s my idea what game adaption ideas of movies would you like to see.

I'm not sure Id like to encourage the practice of making movies into games (because usually it never works out) but If I have to venture an opinion maybe..... Oh man I can't think of any recent movies that don't already have games.

Ok how about The Dark Crystal, or the Never Ending Story.

A Clockwork Orange.

Sandbox crime game with a heavy emphasis on melee combat in which you roam around with your droogs doing a bit of the old ultraviolence.

Admittedly the fact that it would almost certainly be banned (at least if it was done right) would likely dissuade developers.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first that comes to mind, though I would also enjoy seeing some sort of play-by-play "Star Wars: A New Hope" adaptation that eschews huge action for an enjoyable, character-centric story (think "Enslaved")

I wouldn't want a straight adaptation, but a game set in the universe of Inception holds way too many possibilities for it not to get made.

Get on it!

I wouldn't mind seeing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World as something other than an 8-bit 2D side-scroller beat-em-up. Preferably as a 3D third-person crowd-combat thing, or maybe nothing but tough boss-fights.

Ditto. Mine would be probably be "Dune". Awesome lore for an open world RPG.

this could possibly be one of the best ideas for a game ive ever heard just think of how many ways you could kill yourself in the funniest ways possible!

I'd like some sort of Apocalypse Now game. ONLY and I emphasis ONLY to ride around with Kilgore.

Big Trouble in Little China.

Why in the world didn't it get made into a video game, seriously? I just watched it the other day and all I could see was the influence for a video game, but playing by the rules of the movie, so Jack Burton doesn't actually get to fight in most of the game, but he gets to do everything else? It doesn't sound awesome, but trust me, get a good writer and you might have a mega hit on your hands.

I know there's an RTS based off of it. But an RPG would be quite interesting.

Holy crap yeah, you get to do what you want, including kill yourself, drive tanks, fly helicopters, topple governments and fly into space, then the next morning....you do it all over again! Replay value for the win!

Someone should make a confusing as hell and awesome concept game out of Inception. That is the first thought that popped into my head. That is all.

I totally agree with both of you. Even better, Christopher Nolan is in fact making an Inception video game. This has massive potential to be good not only because Inception was an awesome movie with very interesting concepts, but it's also not being rushed to release with the movie, and the director of the movie has a direct hand in it. We may have to wait a couple of years, but when Inception: The Game gets here, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

That there hasn't been a Mad Max game since the NES. Especially these days with the post-apocalyptic setting having become as popular as it is.

Also, half a year ago I would have said Back to the Future. Would have made a fantastic point and click adventure game.
