I grew up with Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Red, Stadium, and that really cool golf game on the Sega megadrive, and it didn't effect me one bit!

I got hooked on Frogger, PacMan and David's Midnight Magic (a flipper), all on C64. Later through the years I would add the original Bard's Tale Series, Pool of Radiance, Ultima IV-VI, Civilization (from I to today) and latest LotRO. And I guess I will stay on LotRO for some more years.

Mechwarrior 2. Got me interested into Battletech, which interested me in Physics and machinery, which got me to making lasers and gauss weapons...

You know what? I just realized that if I speak more the CIA might pay me a visit.
Are you me?

What he said. Exactly o_O

I got hooked on my first proper console, the Nintendo 64. Almost all of its games enthralled me, but if i had to choose one (ok two) Banjo-Kazooie and it's sequel Banjo-Tooie. Those are held in my head as some of the best games ever.

Yeah, I'm with George. It depends on what you mean by "grew up on".

I first experienced blinding envy over my brother's friend's copy of Pitfall 2 on the Atari 2600. Donkey Kong Junior on the ColecoVision helped me pass a lot of cold, rainy winter days. And speed runs through The Legend of Zelda on NES probably helped me ease through the pre-adolescent years better than anything else.

Super Mario Land. Was fun even though I never made it to the third level. Then again, I was only two years old when I started and four when I quit.
