Actual it was made by Ensemble, the creators of Age of Empires, one of the greatest rts series of all time. Get your facts straight.
Doesn't matter. It was still one of the worst of the RTSs.
Simplistic, yes. Shallow, yes. But no, it's not the worst rts, it's just not anything special.

Fable 2. The game has no depth to it.
Explain.
The plot is weak, the difficulty is nonexistent once you get a "Ghoul" weapon, the spells aren't interesting, the non-story critical NPCs are bland, the story critical NPCs aren't much better, the dungeons are an endless succession of easy fights and the same damn puzzle over and over, and the game's idea of challenging is to make you fight ANOTHER troll or banshee. Oh, and earning money is hugely irritating, the real estate system feels somewhat tacked on, marriage is poorly implemented, you can murder half of a town then make them fall in love with you by doing a sock puppet routine, and there really needs to be a way to get fat male prostitutes to leave you alone, short of killing them. And lastly, far too much of the game revolves around pointless cosmetic options (hair styles, clothes, even the fucking alignment system is almost solely for show).

Those are design choices that you don't like, that has nothing to do with the depth of the game.

Final Fantasy XII. I played it for a short while and hated it beyond imagination. I may pick it up again in the future, I don't know, but probably not. Waste of $56.

To an extent, they do. If a game has no strategy, plot, or lasting entertainment value, it's a shallow game.

The game has more depth than you give it credit for, read through your large post critiquing it, those are a lot of things that most games don't offer, and while the plot is somewhat lacking, that doesn't make the whole game shallow.

True, most games don't offer those. And those games are shallow too. Just because something is a common phenomenon does mean it isn't bad.

Assassins Creed. Do 3 side missions, kill the dude, wait for the dude with a spike in his throat to finish up his dialoge, rinse and repeat.

Unreal Gold - I bought an Unreal Tournament package deal and this game wasn't what I thought it would be at all.
It's made by the now defunct developers Legend.
The game felt like it was a bad or mediocre fan made mod.
It was dull, slow paced and the graphics look much worse than the original Unreal Tournament.
Unreal II: The Awakening - Overly numerous and irritating enemies with rebounding energy attacks.
There were parts that were obviously broken and it was full of glitches.

Shadow the Hedgehog - Hard to hit things with guns and it has extremely unforgiving level designs.
Why does Shadow use guns at all?...It doesn't fit and it's not fun using them.
Sonic 3D Blast - Sonic games haven't worked in a 3d environment at all.
Any other 3D Sonic Game - The current Sonic Team should be axed.

So, please avoid playing the games listed above, for your own sake.

I'd have to say RTS as a whole. Tried halo wars and it bored me to tears.
As I said before Halo Wars is NOT an accurate representation of RTS or strategy genre at all. It's a very bad RTS made by company which makes FPS and doesn't specialize in RTS at all.
Actual it was made by Ensemble, the creators of Age of Empires, one of the greatest rts series of all time. Get your facts straight.
I'm pretty sure that he was talking about Bungie.

A good long list of them, most of which are fading from memory (thankfully). I'm much slower to pick up new games now, for lack of caring mainly, so not many new games.

Jericho can fuck off though. If you haven't played it, don't.
Crysis wasn't that bad, but I feel no need to ever play it again. Bioshock probably won't get played again either; it just does too much gimmicky bullshit that detracts from the atmosphere, which detracts from the fun. There's also not enough in it to really merit playing more than once; there isn't enough variation in available play styles, and I can't play a game for the challenge when you resurrect instantly for free on death.

Also, every Tomb Raider game. Not that I actually bought one, but I've played many of the demos and they bored me sufficiently to never consider buying the games.
