I'd have to say RTS as a whole. Tried halo wars and it bored me to tears.
As I said before Halo Wars is NOT an accurate representation of RTS or strategy genre at all. It's a very bad RTS made by company which makes FPS and doesn't specialize in RTS at all.
Actual it was made by Ensemble, the creators of Age of Empires, one of the greatest rts series of all time. Get your facts straight.
I'm pretty sure that he was talking about Bungie.
Right, but bungie had absolutely nothing to do with Halo Wars

Hu, I didn't know that. Consider me enlightened.

Obviously Fallout 3. How such a huge piece of rubble ridden crap could get the reception it got is beyond me. The environments were boring as hell, and the combat was too easy..

Just garbage..

Why does everyone seem so intent on starting flame wars by posting about massively popular games?

For me, World of Warcraft. HOWEVER! It's not because it's a bad game, I just get addicted to it and do nothing but play it for a month or two and then just stop playing for a long time, and then start it up again (I've only done this twice, but I've been thinking about playing it again lately...). It's a vicious cycle.

2008 was year of the sequels but was more of the year of franchise murder. So I got a lot of them.

Merceneries 2 was a failure in every single aspect compared to the first one.

Civ Rev was a complete dumbed down disapointment compared to Civ 4

Motorstorm 2 insisted on making awful tracks with a multiplayer in which you lose xp for not coming in the first 4 places.

GTA4... /yawn "Hey Niko, lets play darts."

and then there's Resistance 2, Insomniac made the brilliant Resistance: Fall of Man and then took every thing that made that game stand out and made Call of Halo 4, the worst FPS of all time. Linear boring campaign with unlikeable characters; not mention the antagonist is a flying octapus. co-op couldn't be more repetitive. Competitive has got to be the most unbalanced multiplayer in exsistence; it was all about the insta-kill.

Hm...Man, I can list off a few. The Sims and any of its sequels/expansions. The Simpsons: Hit and Run. Day of the Tentacle. Call of Duty: World at War. I Wanna be the Guy. Any Resident Evil game. Zombie Panic! Source. Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. Contra 4(Which is less 'bad' and more 'infuriatingly hard'). Halo 3. Halo Wars. Any of the Harry Potter games. Any Madden game. Any of the Tony Hawk games I've played. Any game of a Disney film.

...Meh, that's about it. I dunno which one I would single out as the worst, though...

Shadow the Hedgehog, another prime example of why Sega needs to stop releasing Sonic games. And Too Human, a waste of ten years for Silicon Knights.
