Ocarina of Time. When I first played it last summer (I know, I missed out as a kid) I realized that I don't have to put up with the current boring FPS-dominated generic market. That I could go back to the games of the 90's and experience GOOD games for once.

Megaman Legends was my first exposure to an RPG, or at least a game with RPG elements. I'd say RPGs are my favorite games evah now.

FFX, on the other hand, put my love for the genre into more tangible terms. I never really realized that I'd been into RPGs until I played a game that was actually considered one.
