Well, GOG has it listed with Activision as the Publisher rather than Sierra. And to answer the Topic (and not go into crazy ol' encyclopedic mode) I think I'm just going to mention one of my light-hearted favourites from the Playstation Era, that being Squaresoft's Threads of Fate. And for once I can shorten my explanation as to why into one word: Mint.
