Well I don't really play videogames with my friends, videogames are my solo event to cherish.
Only game I really play with my friends is Nazi Zombies on BlackOps as I know these two girls who have only just discovered it as they really haven't played videogames before and they've got a bit addicted to it. They really really suck though so I just watch and occasionally solo that in-front of them to show them what they're meant to be doing. They don't take in any of the tactics I show them however.
Playing to impress the girls? Gotcha. ;)

It's a shame you don't have some friends who love to spend a few hours gaming together with you. It's like my one consolation prize for staying in my hometown for the year to get money for school.

Me and my friends pretty much always fall back on Call of Duty 4, FIFA 12, or Battlefield 3.

Oh no I purposely don't play games with my friends, I only play singleplayer games mostly. Videogames are my one vice I get to relax and have my thoughts and stress relief. I prefer to do it alone because other people will just piss me off.

My friends and I get competitive but we don't get pissed off cause we realize we're all there for fun. The last LAN party I was at I got my ass whooped and had one of the best nights in a long time. I just drink more Coke when I lose bad. I dunno. I have gaming to relax and to relieve stress but fun with friends also does that so I can be unsuccessful in gaming and still feel great.

We always fall back to Halo if can't think of anything to play. Halo 3, Halo Reach, and if we're doing a LAN party, Halo CE. It the series has always been a staple for my group.

Halo 3. The multiplayer is awesome and the campaign is really good - it seems to get a lot of hate from gamers but in my opinion it's probably the best of the franchise, with the possible exception of Reach.

Halo. Always Halo.

What other game allows you to play 4 player splitscreen versus other people online? NONE. Hell, these days it's an achievement just to have any kind of splitscreen.
Perfect Dark xbla can do it. And with Bots thrown into a match as well. And over 40 weapons...

For me it's always this bizarre game called Mobile Forces. It's a pretty basic ground-only battlefield like game from 2002. The weapons are a bit ridiculous but the vehicle controls are very solid, and CTF matches over a LAN with bots on both teams are fast and fun. It's pretty awesome for a 500MB game. Loading up a Hummer with your buddies and hauling ass over to the enemy base through an onslaught of bullets and rockets while firing from the hatches up top... amazing.

Halo Reach and Call of Duty, and at the moment, sometimes, rarely, if ever, minecraft.

The first two we always fall back on. It's just the ease of getting everyone in a party and finding a game. There's no messing around, it's done easily. I personally believe this is why these games are so stable amongst I and my friends.

Minecraft because it's an off/on thing for us.

I have a soft spot for old FPS games. I'll have to remember to look this one up.
