I do love video game nostalgia, I love it so much that I got a half sleeve of all my favorite characters from when I was a little kid, it has Knuckles, Luigi, Abe, and Zero, then across the top, riding into my shoulder is kirby riding a warp star, then on the upper inside of my arm is Sparkster from rocket knight adventure and Bubsy Bobcat, plus there is a hidden Moogle, Cactuar, Pikachu, Nall, and Rabbite.

It is quite glorious and took well over 15 hours to finish, And so now I always have a great reminder of all the games that have become, literally and figuratively, a part of who I am

I get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside every time I play Suikoden 2. Can't help but smile my face off every playthrough.

My first game was Chex Quest, it was a Doom clone that was pack into cereal boxes, that game was so cool. You play a half human half Chex thing who goes around killing snot piles whose name I forget. Not to long ago, I bought Doom on Live Arcade, relived some old times.
I remember that game! That was fun as well.

And while I'm here again, I must mention JumpStart, especially the third grade one. It's got a robot fighting a scientist's daughter to stop her from using a time machine to make all of her answers on her history test correct. Awesome.

Games have been part of my life since I was old enough to pick up a joystick. I was born in 82 which was the year that saw a big boom in gaming and game development. My father actually had an Atari 2600 and I remember going into my parents room and playing several rounds Space Invaders, Pitfall, and Pac-Man.

Now the two games that would influence me the most came out on the PC. They were classic point and click adventure by Lucasarts called "Day of the Tentacle" and "Sam and Max: Hit the Road". I remember being mesmerized by the cartoon visuals. I would literally play those 2 games over and over again. But that style and those games are what got me into drawing, animating and eventually film and video production so I owe a big part of who I am today to that era and those games.

I recently went through a massive nostalgia spout and ended up buying Gran Turismo 1 and 2, all 3 digimon worlds (2nd was EXTREMELY hard to get), Resident Evil Survivor, MGS1 and Special Missions and Excalibur 2555 A.D

:D Yeah, I'm cool like that...I also got back into playing Medievil and Crash Bandicoot. Not to mention bit of the ol' pyre Spyro :D

That game was great! I remember playing that at my grandparents, you had to go collect the robots she sent back and one of them could chew bubblegum and walk, which was quite hard for a robot to do.

Most of my Nostalgia is SNES games when I was a teenager. Secret of Mana, LoZ: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, etc etc. :) The SNES was just my era of quality gaming.

Oregon Trail, Number Munchers, Cross Country Canada, Carmen Sandiego. ...ah the memories...
Also Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Legend of Zelda. Ah the NES era, those were the days.

I've got another one! The original Crash Bandicoot for the PS1. That was a great game. Shame what's happened to the Crash series now.
