Like it or not in culture hardcore gamers are still refered to as geeks by many, but I love my geeky ways and proudly polish my mac in public, what is the geekiest thing you have ever done?

Me and a few friends did the chicken dance in the middle of a cross-walk. The police arrived shortly after.

How is a Mac the geekiest option as far as PC's are concerned? Cannot admit that I agree to this point - programming one's laptop with a Linux OS (not Ubuntu, but from scratch) in a public locatio has to be more "geeky".

The geekiest thing I've ever done on the other hand would have to be running straight from a video game store to the nearest pub with an internet connection to grind wolves and crows in the Borean Tundra after the WoW:WotLK release (after having stood for hours in line for said midnight release and having been interviewed by the local media).

I ask my classmates "Would a lightsaber cut cleanly through adamentium?" or "How much would a smack from a lightsaber hurt Superman?"

I still wonder...

I have a tie with a bunch of binary on it that I usually wear to formal events. I also have a shirt that says "There are only 10 kinds of people in the world, those who can read binary, and those who can't"

One time, after finishing my final exams of high school, me and a few friends passed a car that had recently been given a parking ticket, and I decided the best thing to do was to grab a piece of paper from my bag, scrawl "PWNED" on it in huge letters, and slip it under the car's windscreen wipers.

I was proud.

A true geek builds his own labtop from scratch and then uses Linix on it. That said, I'm not that geeky either. The geekiest thing I've ever done is participated in a discussion of how Shadowcat(from X-men) can phase through walls without falling through the floor.

Either wearing my microsoft shirt with proud, nerdy glee, or picking up a bottle cap from the ground and asking what I should buy with it.

I did that too! Went to Chinatown, everyone bought a katana, went down to union square and busted them out of their briefcase like enclosures and had a very Tarantino-esque fight sequence
