Like it or not in culture hardcore gamers are still refered to as geeks by many, but I love my geeky ways and proudly polish my mac in public, what is the geekiest thing you have ever done?
A true geek builds his own labtop from scratch and then uses Linix on it. That said, I'm not that geeky either. The geekiest thing I've ever done is participated in a discussion of how Shadowcat(from X-men) can phase through walls without falling through the floor.
Don't get me wrong I have a custom built pc and a laptop that runs linux but my mac is the one I need to clean it's like it is a magnet for fingerprints.

That may be the case (don't think I haven't seen your white text either), but if and when you do, it will be a world of lattes and rimless glasses, not pocket protectors and D&D :p

Again, I jest. or do I?

Yes, I do.

I don't consider Macs geeky, not to offend any Mac users on here, they seem more to belong to the elitist prick sect anymore, if people in my town are any indication.

That being said, the geekiest thing I've done was sing the Series of Tubes dance remix in the middle of my World Issues class.

Some may call that a better world... I mean, who wants rims on their glasses?

I built a Scarab out of oooooold Legos. It's rather hard to make something round from little cubes & prisms.

I'll edit this post later with a picture of me in my shirt covered in badges depicting really obscure Doctor Who in-jokes.

Wore said badges to a nightclub on Friday night.

Aw yeah, everyone was jealous of my bling.

me and 2 of my friends got 3 tvs, 2 ps2s, and a ps1 and we each played various final fantasies...i logged 12 hours in about...17 maybe? We were all in the same room, and we got all our necassary supplies so we wouldn't have to leave out all...total nerds
I also fantasize often about a terabyte of RAM.....

Why are people so focoused on the fact I said a mac?
Probably two reasons, the first is that Macs are popular, and we geeks shun popular things, the second is that there aren't a lot of games for the Mac, so we double-shun it.
