I can quote Firefly at will when given an episode or character.

edit: Although I guess a geekier thing is I memorized the first half of the periodic table. Still need to look up weights around Silver.

I can quote any Mighty Boosh episode, basically word for word. I don't know if that's geeky but it certainly isn't cool.

My ex-wife used to get me to tell her about 40k to send her off to sleep.

I know the power output and torque of most 4 cylinder cars that are non-turbo'd. I also know the 0-100km/h time for most of them too... And that's why I bought the Mazda3 SP23...

(The only non-turbo'd that does 0-100 faster is the Golf 2.0 FSI. And not by much. {Not counting the Civic type R as it's price puts it "technically" out of the category.})

I can have in depth discussions about colour theory.

And like most people on this forum, I have many more things that I could write down, but probably shouldnt. :D

If you name a shonen manga, there's a 98% chance that I've read it cover to cover at least once and can repeat the entire plot to you word for word.

I've written scripts for movies and continue to do so. Me and my friends are actually about to start filming one. Dalmanson: A group of teenagers are chased by a serial killer wearing a dalmation mask, a business suit, and a top hat.

I have a cape... which I will wear on occasion... for no reason other than to wear the cape... I will often make whooshing noises as I run around in it.

I once had a guy dressed as Mario autograph my Gameboy Advance, and though I now know he was not, in fact, Mario, it is still something I treasure for some reason...

Need any more proof?

Animaniacs fan by any chance?? ;) By the way I can sing the state song as well (and I'm British)

As for geeky things I know, I know a lot of useless crap - especially long numbers. Example: thr square root of 2409 is 45.265881.
Max's barcode number, from Dark Angel, is 332960073452.
The co-ordinates to earth, according to Battlestar Galactica, are 1123 6536 5321

I hum different video game tunes randomly. List usually includes Tetris, Dr Mario, Zelda, Katamari, Metal Gear.
Also I can name pretty much any species from all the Star Wars films. Yeah that one in the background there, I know it.

And there are talks about the different academic majors being geeky etc, well I think English Lit majors are way high up there on that list. I'm an English major with a writing minor and pretty much every person in my writing classes are fanatical about something. I've heard debates after classes about practically every TV series, comic, movie, etc that you can think of, and been involved in most of them. We've been asked to leave classrooms because our after class discussions ran on too long and the next lectures were starting. Haha, good times.
Oh and also to add proof to the English being the geekiest major, what other academic discipline has discussions about Klingons in class? This wasn't a film analysis class. This was my poetry class, and my TA started the discussion. What was it about? How the clans in Beowulf were the inspiration for Klingons.

OROFL Me too!

Without googling it: In view a humble vaudevillan veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicicitudes of fate. This visage no mere venere of vanity... (I can go on)
