Violence in gaming is good, and I have nothing against gratuitous violence as I approach the age of 31. I destroy all humans as a cloned Furon, I wreak havoc for the Saints, I blast everything in sight as the Duke or the guy from Ark guy or whoever... It doesn't matter. It'[s a game and it's fun and I am one who will fight. Lord of Death in Fallout New Vegas and a Bloody Mess too. This is not bad and this is not wrong. It is fun.

The OP forgets one important thing about older gamers and that is they make up the balk of reviewers and all the other information provided on games. If most Reviewers were serious about games we would see a decrease in cookie cutting games but they are not (IGN for example) they are wanting to make a quick dollar on the side for their own personal futures as most people who have read about game reviewing know it pays fairly little.

That is the major reason, If reviewers were paid more (which would mean subscription and the consumer would be rodgered) then this post would cease to exsist and carbon copy f.p.s and bad glitches requiring DLC would be detrimental and not be able to seamlessly bypass with a P.R smear campaign.

Oh and I have no love for EA but i'm not jumping on no hate bandwagon either. A few games I like that is not Mass effect but ever since Origin I have ceased buying products from them.
