Upon following the link for the Thor [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.220936-Thor-Comic-Con-Trailer-Unleashed-Online] trailer someone posted a bit down in the thread, I started watching. However, I stopped half way through, something caught my attention at the edge of my eye, something...glorious: http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-goon/promo-trailer
For those who ain't in the know, The Goon [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goon] is a comic by Eric Powell about a two-fisted collector and all around tough guy named the Goon and his short beady eyed foul mouth partner Frankie. All set vaguely in a 1940's/1950's'ish type setting and host to their adventures and troubles against zombies, mobsters and an assortment of the weird and bizarre.
And judging by the trailer, they seem to have kept the spirit of the comic alive. It could be awesome, just saying. And the author is also writing the film, so that can only be a good thing :3
Edit: And we've got both Clancy Brown and Paul Paul Giamatti in the lead roles as The Goon and Frankie respectively.
