I know the procedures. Give the heads up to the guys with the fire extinguishers (a.k.a the mods). Wait patiently.

MGS 1 and 3, for the PSX and PS2 respectively. I can't believe they're not up there. There was no MGS2. No, don't even pretend there was.

I disagree with your PS3 lineup and your PC lineup.
Dead Space sucked. So did Morrowind, the rest, I will agree with
Dead space did suck.

But Morrowind?????? I will crucify you!!!
Dead Space did not suck. However my the parts with the Mass Driver did suck, and according to my friend, even more so on 360 (i played it on PC).

I'd rather not add to many backwards compatible titles for the consoles, because it would make the list ridiculously long. The only reason why Pikmin 1 & 2 and Metroid Prime 1 & 2 are listed for the Wii is due to the fact that they were re-released specifically for the Wii using a different control scheme. The Wii list, for instance, would have to include many virtual console games and dozens of Gamecube titles, making the list a bit less convenient, as I want it to mainly focus on current-gen games ( except for PC, because there is no 'current gen' for PC's/Macs ).

I guess this topic might be a nice reference for the "What games should I get for platform X?" topics.

My favourite would have to be

Evil Genius
Black and White 2
Empire: Total War
Creatures 2
TF2
The Sims 3

But everyone is entitled to their opinion. I like reading shortlists like mine, it gives an insight to their personality (Me? Godcomplex, Imperialistic, Dictator-wannabe, Pyro)

I'll save y'all some trouble and get Super Nintendo out of the way right now.
Photobucket resized it, but it's still readable.

I'd love to see Psychonauts and Beyond Good & Evil added to the PC list.
Both games were awesome but somehow overlooked by the general public.

And maybe The Sims franchise should be added to that as well.

The only changes I'd make (i dont own anything but an XBox 360 and a comp, so i'll limit myself to them:

PC:
ADD Homeworld Series

XBox 360:
DELETE GTA IV
ADD Saints Row 2
ADD Braid

Resistance 1 is a must-have for your Playstation 3. I only have number 2 but i regret not buying the first when i could because it is among the only ps3 games that boast a co-op campaign, and in my opinion co-op campaigns are most definetly important(Glares at Resistance and Killzone 2)

If you are going to make a Flame comment like that at least explain why the games are shit. I don't even own a ps3 and i love both the gears of war and Halo series, because they have Co-op(Very important imo) great multiplayer, good examples of next-gen graphics, and fun to play with mates.
Don't just make one sentence half-assed attacks at 'The Establishment' of Xbox 360 games. They are praised for a reason.

I don't agree with Mario Kart Wii since that is such a big downer and the first 2 Metroid Prime games were brought out on Gamecube way before the Wii but they are very good games.

I recommend Starcraft because it is fairly different from Warcraft and considered to be one of the greatest RTS games ever as well as Total Annihilation.

Well first I don't know why you mention that you don't have a ps3 but that's nice. Anyways I don't like the Halo series because I understand the first Halo was a genre defining game and that I believe is true but the last two games have pretty much been that same game with different levels and new aliens and the media freaks out at a new Halo coming out. But thinking about it again Gears isn't a bad game I just don't want it to turn into Halo.

Please keep in mind that overhyped =/= bad. While I didn't think Halo was a gift from God myself, it certainly isn't a bad series and therefore it deserves a spot in the lists.

Can't believe I didn't have Starcraft in there yet, even though I'm playing it right now.
GTA IV has been removed, as most people seem to quite dislike it.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (Technically not part of Civ as Microprose owned the rights to Civ when Firaxis made this) - PC.

Far Cry 2 - Xbox 360.

Dreamfall - PC.

The list becomes bloated and hard to read due to having the same titles for all different platforms. Wherever a game obviously works best on one platform, just put it under that platform. You can still mention the other platforms, like thus:

/// PC
Orange Box (+ 360, PS3)
Bioshock (+ 360, PS3)
and so on. Neater, more compact, and more informative.

When there is no difference or both have advantages, I would put it on all applicable lists.

New additions:

/// 360
Virtua Fighter 5 (+ PS3)

The downside of it is that if people want to look up good games for the Xbox360 and PS3, they would have to skim through the PC list as well, which makes little to no intuitive sense.
Perhaps it would be an idea to add a 'multiplatform' list? That would save quite a lot of space.
