My vote goes for either The Princess Bride or The Great Race.

Seriously, you guys. Like a ten minute pie fight towards the end of the Great Race. Awesome.

Cortheya- You keep on using that word. I do no think it means what you think it means.

As a lot of other filmmakers would say... Citizen Kane is the best movie ever made.

In my opinion, there can't be a "best movie ever" for me. I can't hold one film higher than all the others. It's nigh impossible.

That being said one of the best films I've ever seen is The Godfather, so I'll put that.

Saving Private Ryan

No character has ever invoked so much emotion in me like Corporal Upham McPussy has, I was so unbelievebly angry at the end of the movie.

Death of Mellish=Total RAGE, Fuck Upham!

You're most definitely not alone in your opinion.

Also to not cite any of the movies that have already been said I think "Children of Men" is awesome; and "Gangs of New York" is a classic.

I've got to go with Jurassic Park. It personally influenced my life more than any other movie.

BEAT THAT.
Dammit, you stole mine!!! :p

I feel as though I should mention Blackhawk Down and Tears of the Sun as well. Tears of the Sun was very underappreciated in my book.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Pan's Labrynth yet...

You expect me to pick just one? Having seen recently, I enjoyed Up quite a lot and it definitely ranks up in my favorite films. Lord of the Rings is probably king of this particular mountain though. All depends on what kinda film I am in the mood for though

This is the problem with this thread how can you choose. Completely forgot about Pan's Labyrinth. Can I preemptively put the Hobbit on my favourites list? Weta Studios and Guillermo Del Toro, my inner fanboy is positively giddy.

Impossible to pinpoint one. I've seen too many brilliant films in my time.

Favorites include Let The Right One In, In Bruges, Die Hard, Platoon, Green Mile, Ghostbusters....etc.
