Your have been given the resources, cash, and staff to create your own game. What's it about? what's the gameplay, story, etc.?

Your version of the best video game ever.

A sequel to Soulbringer that kept the general systems, but made the motion capture look less clunky, the magic books easier to find, the interface more intuitive, and the underpowered elements stronger.

Man, that'd be awesome.

KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 3!!!!

Yes the mere thought of it gives me hyperbole.

I have a fantasy in which in KOTOR 3 Revan and the Exile battle each other. The victor determines the outcome of the game.

But the twist is... YOU, the player, control both of them at once as they battle!

Does that include technology that doesn't currently exist? If so, some sort of total virtual reality game would be the best ever.

If not, a game with the RPG elements and writing of Bioware games, the humor and atmosphere of Valve games, the intricate open-world of Oblivion, the infinite replayability and social gaming aspects of an MMO (i.e. World of Warcraft), a unique art style (something different like LoZ: Wind Waker or The World Ends With You), and the addictive item/upgrade hunt of the Metroid games. Yeah, that would about do it for me.

-A game similar to civilization but there are no real-life nations. Each nation is extremely customizable and its appearance depend on its location on the map and its proximity to resources.

-Some Guy in real life accidentally transports himself to the realm of video games through a device mistakenly mailed to him by the CIA. CIA intended to use the device to find a secret code within a game developed by a late Chinese game dev. The code can be used to infiltrate the network of the United States government, and the game has been shipped to various other countries. The Cubans find out and they use the same device the CIA is using to infiltrate the video game realm and attempt to find the code, and the Guy has to fight them while being assisted by the CIA and his friends to find the code.

The game takes place in parodies of various video games and gameplay changes in each game. The Guy has to traverse various obstacles and fight the game's enemies as well as the real life Cuban enemies who also transport themselves into the game world and fight like Agents from The Matrix. The Guy's allies can sometimes hack into the games and give the Guy abilities that make him much more powerful, including Batman: Arkham Asylum style combat that the Guy uses for the most part of the game, but this help gets disabled by the Cubans in various occasions. In the last level, he personally gains control of the all-holy Developers Console and uses it as an ultimate weapon against his enemies.

The cutscenes are filmed in both real life and within the games.

Oh, good. I have an idea for an online multiplayer game that I peddle around for fun occasionally. I still think it would kick ass.

Alright, so, here is my idea.

We put out a fishing game, unlike any other.

You see, one team plays the fishermen and the other team plays the fish.

The fish have the objective of wrecking the boat and trying to save their fish brethren.

The two teams would be made up of seperate classes.

For example, on the fish team, bass fish would be the most visible and simplest to play, good for distractions while the other, larger fish (maybe sharks or barracudas, depending on the area and water. There could also be one unique fish class for each level) try to blow holes in the boat or capsize it. There would also be jumping fish who could try to snag other fish from the boat before they die. There would be an option to set the bass fish to CPU players.

The fishermen would have to spend fish points that they have recieved from catching fish to repair their boat and upgrade rods, line and lures over the course of the game. They would also be armed with harpoons, spears and the like to keep it interesting and to stop the fish from getting too far. Using these could kill fish but not capture them. Once a fish point threshold has been met or enough fishermen have been killed, the round ends and statistics for each time are shown.

There would be upgrades for the fish as well, depending on the class, like swimming speed, attack power, and visibility.

Also, consider alternate modes: a capture the flag mode with a whale instead of a flag. The fish try to defend it while the fishermen cooperate to capture the behemoth. It would offer a great deal of variation. And a mode where it begins with one fisherman and several fish who spawn again as fishermen if they are caught.

I think this would be jawesome.

But...Okami has already been made...NAh im just kidding... hmm well seeing as though im still over psyched about that old Steel Battalion Controller i would make... a sandbox... which you control a giant robot... you go off to fight battles with both guns and swords.... and you can challenge people to space flight combat... and you have a 1st person monster fighting game were your a demon hunter fighting off monsters, which becomes and unlock-able full game after you beat the main game where you then go after a main boss monster inside a castle spectacle fighting zombies along the way. Plus an online death match mode for both the main fighting and space combat... and team up for the second game.
Yeah i just learned about the old Steel Battalion Controller and thought of how awesome it would be to have other games for it.

A superhero game with my own characters. Who says all heroes have to come from comics? It is just step one in my goal to create a "Universe" that is spread across multiple areas of media: games, comics, books, manga, and so on!

Alternatively: Nintendo vs Marvel vs Capcom vs Tatsunoko vs Sony vs Microsoft vs DC vs Midway vs Konami vs Bioware vs Valve vs Shonen Jump vs SNK vs Square Enix vs...
you know what? It's just MUGEN, but an offical game for it! It also works like TF2: it constantly updates itself.

Homeworld Online.

Based post HW2 play as either Hiigaran, Vaygr or Taidani. Guilds are Kiith, Clans or Fleet appropriatly.

The player starts off in a small scout ship and is able to purchase upgrades for its various systems eventually purchasing new ship types upto a carrier class ship, allowing a player to field various prebuilt and thus limited ship types.

The game is predominantly PvP orientated with capture and hold systems. Pve is driven predominantly by pirates in early levels and later by rogue beast ships and random large scale uprisings that usurp PvP control points.

End game missions tie in AI controlled motherships and special ships such as Sajuuk in vast PvP fleet battles.

I would make a sandbox space shooter game, like the original privateer game.

Lots of different factions: Alien race, Crazy cult, Military, local militia, pirates, civilians
Lots of different ships: Fighters, Freighters, Multi purpose
Weapon, armor, engine, shield upgrades
A HUGE area to explore, lots of quests and side missions to take if you want to, or you can just sandbox , choose a side to be on, or take no sides.

NO XP or levels to hold you back, when you have the money to buy that big ship you can buy it.

that sounds awesome and maybe let the fishermen drive the boat around and have those sniper fish that can spray water at a fishermen and if they hit them in the head they drop their rod have to buy a new one.

Timesplitters 4. The fact this hasn't been made begs belief.

I heard Crytek when they bought the remains of freeradical thought that there wasn't a market for TS4 so shelved it.

I'm sorry but you guys are sodding idiots there was and always will be a market for one of the most fun FPS series ever, especially in this age of Mediocre Warfare games.
