what this happened?
Yeah at the super bowl a few years ago. The FFC lost their collective shit
That was certainly the biggest TV controversy of our generation. At least, so far.
The NFL hasn't forgotten that either, I think they said something about MTV never doing another show for the Super Bowl.

When Michael Jordan hit 6 three pointers in the first half of a finals game against Clyde Drexler.
Or when Michael Jordan scored 50+ points while sick with the flu, to the point where he was throwing up on the sidelines.

Two of the greatest things ever broadcasted on TV.

I wouldnt say it my personal greatest moment in television history but this would definately rank among the top few. Mostly because of the Janitor at the end.

The US government was sued by an atheist because she felt that the broadcast violated the First Amendment. Supreme Court dismissed the lawsuit because they concluded Lunar Orbit was outside of American Legal Jurisdiction.

This, or the first interracial kiss on television from Star Trek.

Even if it wasn't outside jurisdiction(even though it obviously is :p), how would that possibly violated the First Amendment? Dude just gave all atheists a bad name.
[sub]Not an atheist myself by the way.[/sub]
