It doesn't happen often. In fact, I can't even remember the last time a song/voice gave me this feeling (including recent B.E.P. songs)... but when she "got in the car" and started saying "Friday, Friday" I almost puked. Well, maybe not almost but it gave me an ill feeling no doubt.

Fuck. That. Shit.

I feel like someone just sodomized my ears with a stick wrapped in fly-paper, the still-twitching insects caressing the inner workings of my inner ear. X_X

Eh, Foreplay was cool but Long Time is just generic mush. It'll do :p

I was listening to it as I clicked on this thread.

Rebecca Black just might be the second coming of Christ.

Although this song is pretty great as well:

Please tell me this song is a joke. Please.

And yeah, that Friday song is total crap. Even some people I know that like pop "music" say this song is crap. It's pretty much mutually accepted now.
Nope, it's completely real. You should check out the Youtube Channel it's posted to. I think it's run by her mom and they have a link to a website for Jenna Rose.

No! I refuse to listen to it again.

Also, it's listed as 'featured on Comedy Central'. That means it's a troll video (not that we needed confirmation).

That's it people.. Keep bringing attention to this song, that's a great way to make it go away.

I would like to make a point (like I have in the three or four other threads like this) that Rebecca Black had no part in writing this song. Her parents paid Ark Music Factory, which is run by two (horrible) songwriters, and they made the song for her. Which is kind of sad.. Because she might of had legit talent in a few years, now her name is tarnished pretty much for ever.

She is the Star Wars kid of the music.

Heh! You snobs with your instruments and your time signatures and your harmonies and your minor keys! Circle of what? Circle of bitches around me while my magic mic makes me sound good! Singin' 'bout them jeans, uh, uh!
This is my favourite post in the last 12 months, easily.
Thanks. I was sort of channeling Jason Segel there.

I give up, i can only be so obvious, I was joking, i thought i could convey that by making a rant so insane that nobody could possibly believe it is real. I'm sorry, but i can't make it any more nonsensical. When did the internet become so humorless?
OK, I really thought you were serious, you are really convincing and I get what you were saying.

Holy shit shit someone gag that *****.
Cant think of an 'artist' with a more annoying voice.
I can understand your jealosy, but this comment goes too far. Her voice is what heaven would sound like, if heaven was closer to perfection. The pure extacy that this song provides is incomparable to anything mortal man was meant to behold. After i listen to this song i want to gouge out my ears so Jessica Black is the last thing i ever hear, and i'de die a happy man.
Oh I take it back, now I see the light. My mortal ears must just not measure such sounds which are made only for angels.
Thank you my good man

That is it. I have heard this song and I now have a katana in front of me. I'm really doing this. I MUST do this. I shall slice my ears from my head so they do not become tainted after the ultimate purity this music has poured into them.

It mystifies me the number of people who claim that this angel song is 'bad'. They cannot see the forest for the trees clearly. Or are just a bunch of Fanpeople.

Not even auto-tune can help her. Note to "artists", if you can't sing live, don't fucking record it.
Well, there go all the boy bands and 90 % of the rappers, no more Miley Cyrus, no Simpson sisters - pretty much everyone you see on Saturday Night Live not holding a guitar. They wouldn't have a career.
Now THAT is music to my ears.

Its a pretty godamn funny song.
An unintentional parody of current 'pop music' is the most appropriate label that fits this ah..noise.

Friday, Friday, Friday ooh Friday--

Oh, don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks she (very badly) ripped off the worst "musician" in the industry?

Well, we can not really know.

Almost all the music ever made in human history has been lost. We don't know how they made their instruments, we can't translate what ever they used as "notes," and most civilizations never wrote those down to begin with. Who knows what art was made that puts all the musicians before or since to shame.
