I go for the bolt action marksman rifles and the handguns, particularly M1911s for the latter.

Hmmm, usually an assault rifle. I like AKs (though im sure im one of the few who thinks that in the next COD, they should drop the AK47 and use the AKM instead, since the Russians, who *will* be the enemy use those in their modern military, or as far as I know.)

The Russian military doesn't even use the AKM anymore, having first replaced it with the AK-74 and then more recently with modern versions of them.

Shit... Activision needs to put something new than. What dos the Russian military use now, anyways?

Right now they use all kinds of AK derivatives, the AK-107, AEK-971, AN-94, and others. Spetsnaz uses even more different kinds of weapons.
