The Guys of MST3K are Still at It

The creators and staff of Mystery Science Theater 3000 are still at it with a new-ish series called Rifftrax. However, this time they make fun of newer movies. I've gotta say, as a MST3K fan, they are hilarious. The 300 one is one of the best. If anyone gets a chance, go watch some of their videos.

Ehh, I could find funnier stuff for free.

Also, they only narrate things, which I tend to do when watching a movie anyway.

I don't find Rifftrax that funny. My friend had me watch the Harry Potter one, and many clips from others. Some of the things they say are cute, but that's it. :/

Rifftrax are pretty hit and miss - a lot of the jokes feel kind of petty, but every now and again they'll say something that has me laughing so hard it's physically painful.

The "voiceover comedy" thing is really exploding at the moment. I accept that it's these guys' bread and butter and they've been at it for years, but I still come around to a resounding 'meh' as my conclusion.

The jokes feel like they're drawn out for too long and they really distract from the movie.

I'm going to say that they were funnier working on the older movies, mostly because it was the type of acting that the older movies have done that they could make fun of with ease.

Still, seems like there's a spark of there original presence in there once and awhile.
