Once everyone had piled into the Security officer hit the button to floor 87, the top floor.

?Co-owner Kevin Sera will be meeting us, unfortunately the other co-owner, Charles Yannick, has fallen ill in recent days,? the guard explained. ?When we get there, you are to remain no closer than five feet away from Mister Sera; you see Misters Sera and Yannick are under constant threat of assassination, and as such preemptive measures must be taken. Speaking of which, I?ll need all your weapons, and don?t bother trying to conceal any, you?ll be frisked once we arrive at our floor.?

The guard held out his large calloused hands in expectation of the guns and knives he expected from the group.

Tetsuya walked over to the man, but only dropped his bullet clips and his signature, engraved sword vambrace on the ground.
"The gun stays with me," Tetsuya warned as he showed off his cutomized beauty, "I NEVER leave it out of my sight. If your boss wants to see me bad enough, I'm sure he won't mind."

Marko sighed and handed over his weapons, and felt a weight lifted as the gun left his hand. The devil on my shoulder, He thought. For a second, he toyed with the thought of telling the guards not to give him back the gun, but the moment passed.

"I suppose I can let it pass Mister Tetsuya, but I can't necessarily say the same about the guards up there," the man said as he pocketed the munitions he'd been given. "Though, I still need your friends' weapons."

 

[TraitortoHeaven]

"That's fine," Tetsuya pocketed his gun, "It's not like I was gonna count on them anyway..."

 

[Xero Scythe]

Damien took the earpiece and inserted it in the appropriate appendage. Damien then began handing all his throwing knives over to the man. By the time he was finished searching himself for them, the man had over 30 knives in his hands. The man reached for Damien's sword before being stared down. "Killing Rain stays with me." Damien said as he backed up. He turned around and coughed, covering his mouth. He then began to speak rapidly so that only 3W could hear him. "Whenever you can, get me some info. Map, resumes of my comrades, boss info, etc. Also, ready the taser defense. I don't feel like loosing my sword." He whispered, before turning around. He looked around discreetly behind the shades to make sure no-one had noticed. No-one had.

"I'm afraid that I can't allow that. An unloaded gun is one thing, but a sword? You must be out of you mind if you think they'll even speak to you without it," the man threatened.

 

[Xero Scythe]

Damien took off his shades and stared down the man, showing that smile that was known to make grown he-men back down and beg for mercy. "Are you sure you don't want to give up right now?" Damien asked, his legendary question. He probably wouldn't resort to violence, but Damien would not be separated from his sword. If he was, Damien would probably suggest taking the man's arm, as compesation for the feeling of loss.

Scott stepped infront of the towering samurai, back facing him.
"Now friend, there is no need to get defensive."
Scott placed his weapons into the bin and turned back to Damien.
"These men aren't going to harm us. Are you boys?"
The guards stood nervously in front of the group.
"Look here boyo, this lot behind me, and the twitchy one over there" Scott nodded at Marko "Are already afraid of you, so there's no need for you to get all macho." Scott looked over at Tetsuya "That goes for you too half pint. Well minus the fear bit" Back at Damien. "Now put your sunglasses back on, and give the man your sword. Or stay down here if you like, and miss the field trip. I'm fine either way."
Scott grinned and pointed at his eyes before whispering "See, my eyes are scary too... oooooo" Scott then winked and walked past the guards, but just before leaving the room Scott stopped. "Oh. and fellas, you may want remove the bullet from the chamber of Silver's gun. You know, so your precious CEO doesn't get assassinated by a twelve year-old."
Scott continued walking.

"Well said Scott, and Damien, I know what you're thinking right now, and we know all about your...methods of dealing with things disagreeable, in fact, that's why we hired you. But, if you don't give me that goddamn sword or make a move against me or any other employee of Yansec, you will be promptly executed.

Damien sighed. "Damn, like the 5 foot barrier isn't enough?" He sighed and lovingly placed Killing Rain on top of the pile of weapons. He stepped back, felling naked without his sword. He suddenly became even more aware of the bulges in the men's clothing that meant guns. He sighed as he put the shades back on, confirming his suspicions about the guns using his... Modifications. He now depended on 3W's defense system in case things got ugly, and he hated it. Because, knowing his luck, things would vet ugly, fast. He followed Scott. "Let's get this over with."

"Thanks for your cooporation," the man said, his words dripping with sarcasm. "Just in time too, looks like we're here"

A bell chimed and the doors opened revealing a short hallway with a huge set of mahogany doors at the end of it. Four guards stood in front of it, all of them armed to the teeth.

"These men here are going to have to scan you for any recording or transmitting devices, and in your case 3W, we will put a temporary block on those capabilities."

One of the guards lowered his assault rifle and pulled out a device used to scan the men for such devices and began to walk towards them.

Tetsuya had to resist the urge to snatch the device from them and break their arms...
Tetsuya didn't like it; He wanted to just be done with whatever this guy needs them for, and go back to watching his anime

 

[ThreeWords]

"Shit," 3W said in Damien's ear, "Looks like we're being shut down. I'm cutting my communications as of now, but keep the earphone in. If it's inactive they won't find it without a cavity search, and I may yet need to talk privately. Oh, and by the way, don't bother with the whole covering you mouth thing; if you're holding me, I can detect and understand you if you're talking under your breath. You don't even have to move your mouth."

"One last thing; the shock system is now primed, in case things do go nasty" Damien felt the earplug go silent suddenly, and knew the connection had been cut

Out loud, the AI announced "Communications systems are now deactivated, but I can hardly switch off my memory, can I? If I don't remember the interview, what would be the point in going?"

Damien placed his weapon in the box along with all the others. Scott noticed an immediate sense of depression come over his face. Scott placed his arm on Damien's shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll get it back mate." Damien nodded without turning around or moving another muscle in his body. Before Scott could remove his arm he felt a tingling sensation in his hand. He quickly removed it, and smiled.

"One last thing; the shock system is now primed, in case things do go nasty"

This is just keeps getting better and better. I'm starting to like this samurai more and more.

The group walked out into the corridor and the guards with the scanners moved towards them. As one of the guards was approaching Scott, Scott held out his arm for the man to stop. "I really don't like electrical equipment, and they don't like me. I'm just sayin'" The man turned around to what seemed to be his supervisor with a puzzled look. "Don't look at me, check'em!" Scott lifted his arms and spread his legs for the guard. The man waved a wand like tool over Scott's appendages and then the machine began to make funny noises. The man fished his scan and waved Scott forward. "Lucky break, crap like that usually just breaks around me."

The recruit with the communications scanner looked somewhat inexperienced compared to the other guards on the floor, and he spoke with the fear in his voice that most rookies have.

"Oh, we don't want the memory deactivated 3W, just any transmitting to outside sources, and as for the rest of you, this device will short out anything it considers to be a comm. device, so you may need to get a repair once this is all done," he chuckled nervously.

"Oh fuck." Marko reached into his pocket and gave the guard the spherical holodeck console he'd been using on the train. "Can you put this with the weapons and leave it on? There's some ah... important shit on it. Don't really wanna lose it."

Damien rolled his neck just as the earpiece was about to be scanned. His neck produced some nice sounding cracks that sent shivers up your spine. Damien sighed with relief. "Ahh, that felt good. My neck's been stiff for days, ever since that idiot decided to swing around a fucking basebat bat. What kind o' hoodlum does that shit anymore?" He walked on through after the scan ended. He caught the man as he tripped with one hand, gripping the man's shoulder just weakly enough that he didn't break it. "Careful there." He righted the man up. "So, can we get this conversation over with already, and get the job?"
