Well, as many of you know a couple of years an April Fools trailer for a Legend of Zelda film was release as a joke. but, an actual film is being made by BMB Finishes and in March 2006 a trailer was released. nothing was heard of for a while until November 2008 when a new and updates trailer was released:

there is also an official website:

there is also other stuff about the delays/FAQ/recent updates about the film (and is where i first heard about the film a couple of years ago) here:

Cool. I remember saying at the time that if it were a real trailer that I'd go see the movie.

they have changed a few things from the game but they have to, really. from the interview they have stayed pretty true to the game.

Oh, please. Even that sensei figure in Kill Bill 2 looked way more awesome.
True, but compared to the rest of the goofy actors in this alleged movie, G-Dorf looks at least passable.

I generally never go see any movie that is connected to games because that will just end up being a disappointment.

You have 5 seconds to name a good game-to-movie made on earth, I real life, by humans.

Well I'm pissed. As much as a OOT movie would be amazing, there is no possible way to bring a game like that to the big screen. Plus, this movie, and I realize it is independent, looks terrible.

That made me laugh. I read that before I watched the youtube video so I could not take it seriously but if im honest it really wouldnt have made much difference. Its a decent attempt but I think its probably impossible to do a live action zelda movie without looking like an idiot

What they said.

Man.....when will people realize that games do not equal movies? Uugh...and independent, too.

I agree with most here when I say that an OOT movie doesn't seem feasible, at least if one were trying to make it any good. Though admittedly I'd love to see what they do for the Temple of Shadow.

...Or not.

Also, it is my conclusion that the movie requires more Malon. She was always my favorite OOT character. She needs to be there too.

Or maybe she doesn't, considering what a failure this looks like at the moment.

No heres what they do, if they want to make this a suckfest, which is should be

1. Cast link as Zac efron with Bleached hair
2. Cast Vanessa hudges(or whateever the f*** her name is) as Malon
3. Cast Chuck Norris as Ganondorf
4. Cast Samuel L. Jackson as Shiek
5. Get Ian Mckellan to be the the Sage of time
6. Navi's voice will be done by Chris Tucker.

Thats how they should do this!
