Is it just me that can't take the words "gaming" and "career" seriously?
I guess mine would be beating Far Cry 1 on Realistic Mode.
Man that game requires patience.

Oh how could I forget getting Foxhound status in MGS3: Subsistence! That was pretty difficult and more difficult than Big Boss status in MGS4.

Beating Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks was a pretty big deal. The final bosses are extremely difficult.

beating Blaster Master on the NES when i was 14. it took all day of on/off play (i was 14 so there were chores to do).

getting 50 wins in a row in MK2 at the arcade against players of varying quality.

beating elder scrolls 1 when i was in college in 1996 i think.

clearing vice city in GTA1 in an hour (i had a 12x multiplier, four star wanted level and a flamethrower)

beating mario 2 with one life and no warping.

Here's one.

I have seen the evolution of the game from the lowest text-RPG and Atari game to the height that is massive online games and the console extravaganza. I have played in much of it, and much of it is still to be played.

Good times.

Im sorry to admit but it was in WoW. *shakes head in dismay*

I'd left the screen alone to go fetch some more water, and when I came back, I'd realised stupidly that I'd left myself flagged for killage in a high level contested area with a nice Tauren man running toward me gleefully.

Paniking since I was a large disadvantage, I ran for about a minute from this guy, had the camera swung round to check I was running faster (Retri-Pala, we get faster running talent), stupidly ran right off a death-cliff, Sheilded, survived, realised I'd plummeted into an area crowded with Elites, with one way out of the ordeal, 'Mounted', Crusader aura and tore out of there with 15 or so of them aggroed on my back, got to the very end of the fissure and oh guess what, they stunned me right at the exit and gang raped me to death... Bloody annoying but freakin epic-ly funny.

The same Tauren actually came back to laugh and applaud my misfortune.

Absolutely absurd but one of the most elaborate attempts at survival I've had in a game.

Oh and I beat Tales of Symphonia 100%. Yes I got the title 'Midlife-crisis'. I know I hang my head in shame. Even the game thinks I'm a loser for beating it.

Beating Sonic3&Knuckles Entirely at aged 8. I was so proud of me.

(There are lots of moments, I dunno which to pick)

Hasn't happened yet. In 2012 I will become the undisputed master of gaming and will beat any challenge that is tossed at me by anyone.

So far. That would have to be taking first place at a Counter-Strike tourney.

Actually happened today. Was playing dawn of war 2 with a friend and a random person. We got pushed down to 8 points left, the enemy had at least 180 is what I saw when I noticed, friend claimed it was over 250 but he may have been exaggerating and I was too busy trying to kill things. Well we managed to hold onto those 8 points and hold the enemy back, finally working them down to 0 points and winning the game. It was incredibly tense and so exciting when we managed to do it.

When I beat Call of Duty 4 on veteran. My voice was hoarse from swearing at my computer monitor, and my fingers were numb.

Final mission of Half life 2 where the gravity gun gets juiced and can pick up enemies and throw them.

it defiantly was NOT discovering that there was a level 20 cap on fallout 3 before i even had my power Armour training. Made the last stretch of the game dull. made sure to not level up to fast the second time around.
