Exactly. Not everyone on the forums is Christian, so we're trying to do secular holidays.

Because Christmas has nothing to do with Christianity and is totally secular.

Oh wait, it's the most important holiday in Christianity. My bad, I always confuse it with Groundhog Day.

Well, it kind of sounds selfish when the only reason you celebrate a holiday just so you can get stuff. That's like if I celebrated Hanukkah just so I could get presents. It sounds kind of selfish.

The point of using Holly, instead of Christmas hats, is that holly is just a winter plant that represents the winter holidays. Some people have chosen to add other Christmassy type items, but that is not the main purpose.
