@Unusual: Things that are truly funny cannot be remembered. That is one of the laws of hilarity. Damn straight we disrupted a room. Thats just how my Mom's side of the family is. We took a vacation went to a hotel started dinner at 8. Left the restaurant part of the hotel at about 2-3am and we heard people bitching about the inconsiderate "fuckwads" talking all nice outside.

Priceless.

@Asturiel: Absolutely priceless. Hell of a difference, how they are all just sitting around chatting, and you guys went on a small sort of vacation and family meal.

Your Mom's family kicks ass. Though, that is the side of my family that is pretty kick ass too....I'm seeing some sort of trend here...

@Unusual: Well thats the side that I recently lost my Grandfather to. Heh were shunning an Uncle of our family now. He thought going to Bermuda was more important than his fathers bloody funeral... It's funny the message his wife sent saying "we kept the teachings you taught Jeff to our children" BULL MOTHER FUCKING SHIT. My Grandpa quite literally if you woke him up would react and bring you down. Thing he picked up while working in the mines. He made his children work like dogs and to be honest the result is pretty darn good from all of his offspring. His kids? Rilen seems ok but I know Brandon is a self absorbed spoiled fuckwad.

I'm ranting aren't I? Yeah that sides pretty awesome, gotta love French Canadians.

@Asturiel: Wow. Didn't want to go to his fathers own damn funeral? Pretty low. Yeah, working like a damned dog seems to be the thing of generations past. Not saying its a bad thing, of course....

And though upbringing is big, sometimes the kids are just damned brats, and there is little to be done about it. Other than dramatic action, but most are not willing to go that far.

Don't worry about ranting, we all do it.

@Unusual: Rantings good for ze soul. Oohhoooho, about to post in a thread about my parents, a few paragraphs are about to be born!

Yeah he's pretty much in the dog house when it comes to family matters, then again we live out in Ontario, middle but pretty eastern, while he moved to Alberta I think? Or maybe it was British Columbia, either way very west. He hasn't had good relations with the family due to not being involved. It's a damn shame because family is one of the important things in life right?

I suppose I can't completely blame him, don't know him well enough.
