He was entertained by the thought of all of you wishing him a happy birthday when he had no idea who any of you were. However, he was thankful for the well wishes, despite being socially awkward about it.

I think his birthday didn't go quite as he wanted it, but we just ended it on a note of the Empire Strikes Back.
