That's Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, and a bunch of Company of Heroes stuff for X amount of dollars, where X can equal anything right down to 0. Pay more than the whopping median of $5.69, and you get Saints Row 3 as well.

This is...a little surprising, to say the least. I want to cheer THQ, but I'm also a little concerned this is just the latest fire sale as they struggle to keep their heads above the churning waters of bankruptcy. If you do decide to take advantage of this bundle, do try and give a little. THQ is a fairly gamer-friendly developer, and they've fallen on hard times.

In other news, Courtyard Marriott is offering some kind of weekend deals! Again!

I will give to them at least 6 dollars so I can get the secret extras as always in these kind of bundles.
But I must say......over 2 millions in few hours [I think]. I guess they will get over 5 millions in 12 days. I dare to say even 10 millions if they continue with this kind of rate [unlikely, but I am just saying].

Also, What is Courtyard Marriott?

Huh.

The smell of desperation hangs heavy in the air.

Wasn't so long ago they were putting on airs about being a member of the big boy's club of publishers.

Ah well, I already have the things I would want from that bundle. Besides, THQ have always struck me as a purveyor of decidedly average fare. I don't think they've ever pissed me off, but neither have they ever impressed me.

Mixed bag. I wish the bundle had Guerilla instead of Armageddon. I might actually grab it then, just to have Guerilla on the PC instead of just the XBOX. I really liked that game, but Armageddon is rubbish.

Yeah nothing there that I'd actually want, so I'm passing on it...just because I can get stuff for almost nothing, why would I if I'm not going to ever use it?

Everyone should buy this even if they have one or two of the games. Just to help out THQ and what doesn't go to them can be directed to charity plus all the games in this bundle are solid except Armageddon, so its a win, win.

THQ Stock has risen 20% because of this. And they are making lot of money.
I have nothing against THQ, so they can do this if they want, as long as it does not lead to EA or Activision getting a whiff of the money and then trying it themselves.

You get the secret extras no matter what you paid, as long as you bought it before the secret extras are introduced. Just a heads up.

Well, despite having almost all of the games, bought it for 20$, giving it all to THQ.

I want Metro Last Light and CoH 2 to be released. Like, a lot.

Paid what I could for this about 2 hours after it went live. It wasn't much, but even a little is something, right? I happily paid well over the average for this though. I know it's not really keeping in spirit with the Indie Bundle, but whatever. I get some good games and THQ raises a little bit extra to keep itself afloat. Best of luck to them.

You know, I'm also pretty sure my laptop, although new and pretty powerful, can't really run most of these games. At least they sit waiting for me on Steam, ready for when I get a new PC.

I was more dwelling on this being the first Humble Bundle that isn't indie. Anyone else find that a bit strange?

EA indie bundle wat?

I'm probably the only one on this side, but I like the idea of a major publisher doing semi-indie work. I feel like it hits a good spot between freedom and a budget.

Nah, I've always thought that it was all indie games was because they were the only ones nice enough to give away games for charity. Nice to know THQ, an arguably major game company, is willing to do this. It's earned them a bit more respect!

Yeah I didn't really think of it like that.

Good for them I guess, but since I own a mac, I'll have to pass this one. The only game I would be probably interested in is Metro, so it's not a big deal, even though it would be nice before holidays.

I doubt EA would do it, the fact they potentially won't get all the profits would put them off. I know for a fact that if they did one i'd give 90% to Child's Play and 10% to Humble Bandwidth.

The EA Indie Bundle on Steam is a bit different. It still cost $15, which is more than the average price of an average Humble Bundle

I'd like EA to attempt Humble Bundle though, letting consumers affect the price. Just to see them not believing their own bullshit about how sales and the like affect IP value negatively
