How do you think Games have influenced you :
they have influenced who my friends are, most of my friends are into 1 form of gaming.

What is/was your favorite game/games (anything in the last decade really) why?:
mass effect 2

Your most played game (if you have the amount of hours on steam or other Statistics that'd be helpful. optional :p):
world of warcraft been playing for 3 years

Your favorite type of game and why (fps/rts/etc):
rpg, I love the storys in them.

Your opinion on MMORPG's (can be positive of negative or both)
their addictive nature is the worst thing about them. There was an artical on this site about a shrink that got addicted to wow. It was a very interesting look at the problem. The good thing about MMORPG's is the community. Without a good guild, or friends playing I dont think that alot of people would still be playing them.

Your favorite aspect of a game (Story/gameplay/muliplayer/etc)
Gameplay. I can play a game with no story but I cant play a game with poor gameplay.

What do you think the future of Games are? :
Alot of casual games. FPS's without single player campaign.

Anything else you'd like to say?
no

do you think games make people violent???
No I think it may have affected some people, but on the whole it doesnt. My friends and myself use it for stress relief, we'll shoot people on screen rather than going and hitting some fella down the pub.

How do you think Games have influenced you :

There's a few dozen words that have been added to my vocabulary through gaming, to the point where I had a reputation as a "human dictionary" in elementary school. I've also improved my reflexes, hand-eye coordination, and my ability to multitask.

What is/was your favorite game/games (anything in the last decade really) why? :
Mega Man Zero Collection. Mega Man Zero (and its sequels) is one of those games where you have a very powerful character with several awesome weapons and abilities, yet the game manages to hand you your ass on a platter until you improve yourself and earn a well-fought victory. Other examples of such games include Contra and Devil May Cry.

If I had to go with one game in the Collection, it would be Mega Man Zero 2. It has the coolest bosses (An anthropomorphic panther robot with electricity powers, a teleporting phoenix, a giant polar bear are some examples), coolest exclusive weapon (Chain Rod: swinging around like Spider-Man is always fun, as is pulling enemies towards you while yelling "GET OVER HERE!")

Your most played game (if you have the amount of hours on steam or other Statistics that'd be helpful. optional :p) :

I'd guess either Starcraft: Brood War or Soul Calibur 2 - mainly because of the Weapon Master mode. I love when fighting games have a special single-player campaign type mode.

Your favorite type of game and why (fps/rts/etc) :

Action-RPG. I like being able to brawl with mobs of enemies (especially when playing as a powerful character with a lot of cool moves/weapons). Unfortunately, there haven't really been any Action-RPG's with a combat system that doesn't devolve into mindless button-mashing, random chance based crap.

Your opinion on MMORPG's (can be positive of negative or both) :

Ugh. Garbage. I remember playing World of Warcraft once, an enemy shot a fireball at me, and then I tried to run out of the way. The fireball followed me and I got hit anyway. The only way to avoid taking damage is by being lucky. Everything is determined by a combination of gear and random chance.

Your favorite aspect of a game (Story/gameplay/muliplayer/etc) :

The combat system.

What do you think the future of Games are? :

A lot of games seem to be incorporating RPG elements (stat customization) lately, which I like. I'm guessing eventually, we're bound to get a game that's like X-Men Legends in terms of character customization, but with a polished combat system not unlike that of Devil May Cry.

Anything else you'd like to say? :
The Wii needs more games that use the remote as a pointer. Wii Tanks was an awesome minigame. The Wii Edition of Resident Evil 4 kicked all kinds of ass. They need to make a game that's like Alien Syndrome, except actually good.
