The Internet in 3D!

ok, things have just gotten slightly cooler on the net. A new web browser has launched, essentially taking the SecondLife model and applying it to the whole internet.

we are one step closer to the internet being a matrix style virtual world. what implications does this have for technology? is this one step closer to actually LIVING on the net?

Google's pretty cool in 3D, except you can't type with this browser Addon. It runs smooth if you let it rest on a page after it loads the chat for 5 seconds. You need IE or FireFox to run it, and there's one problem with it. Most pages haven't been claimed by their admins so you can say you own, let's say, NewGrounds, and change it's look completely. This will be a new tool for Cyber Trolls.
