The control to the TV...
At least I can be entertained without getting up while I wait for my brain-nommy demise.

To my right, a USN Mk3 Mod 0. Ok, so maybe not a real knife guy's knife, but still good enough. Got that little slab of metal on the butt of the handle too--good for a head-whack. I bought it new and the blade's never been properly sharpened, so I'll have to stab with extra force.

A laptop.

I play Thriller at maximum volume. The Zombies never had a chance.

Although, if this is "Undead" rather than "zombies", then the blighters probably work for me.

A... box of tissues.

If it counts... my black 90 lbs. monolith of a PC. And my mouse.

I'll smash and scourge the goo out of zombies, and wipe it off of my face :-D

An alarm clock? Eh, that'll work well enough as a bludgeon, I suppose. And just past that is a desk lamp. Also a good bludgeon.

Luckily it isn't "to my left" as the first choice, as that would be a pillow. One of those bean-bag-type pillows, ironically shaped like a heart.

My phone to my right and my iTouch to my left... Hah... Maybe I can phone for help or listen to music whilst being chewed to death.

Maybe I can master the art of bludgeoning with hand-held electronics. Or with headphones. Which ever works.

If I go right, I have the mesh case for my wireless mouse. Go a little further and a I have a hard backed book, which forms my working diary. Useful stuff, though in the event of a zombie apocalypse, BT would probably see fit to have the phones working for a change.

In the left hand, I can quickly grab the petty cash tin, which has about £10 in small change. That should help in some way.

If I can fight to the door, I can get the umbrella or a bread knife from the kitchenette. You're not going to be silly enough to fight off wave after wave of zombies with just the first weapon you grab, are you?
