In my opinion The Joker in the The Dark Knight was more of an anarchist than he was crazy. I like The Joker in The Dark Knight but he doesn't seem to have that insane aspect about him like he does in Arkham Asylum.DividedUnity said:The way he spoke like he was sucking on sponge. The way they made such a big deal of those scars on his face which are really just stupid looking regardless of the many stories he made up about them. When he was carrying out his evil plans as well he didnt seem as psychotic as i thought he should be. I also dont think that the Joker would ever really admit that batman was truly incorruptable as his continued efforts to corrupt him are kind of his thing.clipse15 said:Mind if I ask why you hated the joker in The Dark Knight?DividedUnity said:God I hated the joker in that film. He ruined the film for me.
Anyway you could just shoot him. Batman never did that because hes too worried about karma.
The joker in arkham asylum is an example of how I think he should have been.
Quite easily, its if he inspired other jokers that it would become a problem. There are obvious plots in any given film such as this, think "How did he get to this point? What would it take to do this" etc etc and you'll find its about as probable as Killer Croc and the Riddler teaming up for a glorious victory in 'are you smarter than a 4th grader'.shwnbob said:Hey all! So I've been watching the Dark Knight almost non-stop and I had a thought; If a guy like the Joker existed would anybody be able to stop him? Now obviously batman is out of the question because he's only in the movie so do you think Joker can be stopped if he really existed?
This, basically. In fact, I think The Joker could be better if he was just an entity rather than a person. Could you imagine trying to track someone down only to find that they were a copycat of someone else and so on and so on? Until you round up ALL the copycats and destroy the information regarding the case afterwards, there could be an infinite stream of copycats and related crimes...Kurokami said:Quite easily, its if he inspired other jokers that it would become a problem.shwnbob said:Hey all! I disagree but everyones got their own preferenceclipse15 said:Ya but none of that is really "psychoatic" I don;t know if you combine all the comics of the joker heath ledger's performance is the one who got him the closest to how the joker should be.DividedUnity said:The game(dont even say it). I feel that the joker is extremely psychotic in the game. Although its alot more calculated as you say you have to admit some of the things he does to get at the batman are pretty crazy. I reckon he'd do fine causing mayhem wherever he goes, even in the north pole.Aylaine said:Probably. Depends what city he was in. It's not like he's immortal though. He wouldn't last too long in Los Angeles, but he might have more success in New York.shwnbob said:Hey all! Ya but you do acknowledge that The Joker is supposed to be a murderer right? I mean does he directly kill anyone in arkum asylum?DividedUnity said:I disagree but everyones got their own preferenceclipse15 said:Ya but none of that is really "psychoatic" I don;t know if you combine all the comics of the joker heath ledger's performance is the one who got him the closest to how the joker should be.DividedUnity said:The game(dont even say it).
