Huh... probably in Mass Effect 1, during the Feros mission. I restarted my game multiple times, until I
managed to save all of the colonists from the Thorian.
That was a ***** the first couple of times...Especially if you accidentally give your squad the incorrect orders beforehand.

In Mass Effect, my main Shepards (male and female) have remained loyal to Liara. I promised her old age and blue children dammit.

In Fable 3, I kept all of my promises, didn't execute my brother and, used my own money to keep the treasury full so that my subjects could live happily before the darkness spread. That includes me doing the 'good' law changes although I don't see how letting my people get drunk whenever and have as many children as they like is very good e.e

Ooh, remembered another one.

GTA IV; Driving fullspeed around a corner, hitting a car of another poor woman. I got a bit angry though, as my recently aquired sports car was rather banged up. Out I jumped of the car, ran over and kicked the other car. The woman, infuriated by my poor social skills got out and gave me a good slap. Fair enough.

The police saw this though, and didnt like this slap of vengeance one bit! Oh no, out they came, guns risen and was about to arrest the woman. Upon which I felt regret for all of this, it was my faulth. So what did I do? I gave the policeman a good kick to the arse, which sent him into a oncomming car, swiftly killing him. The other policeman turned to me, so I ran, he giving chase.

Saving an old woman from jail.

Was playing Dead Frontier recently, and this guy shouted out for help and said he was cornered and out of ammo. I found my way to him, and gunned down most of the zombies before the rest descended upon me almost killing me. We got out of that mess and walked back to the closest holdout together.

Good times.

In minecraft multiplayer, I sacrificed myself to save about 15 people's work. I blocked off a lava flow, but I had to seal myself in to stop it. I had to watch while the lava moved slowly towards me, until I caught fire, and died. I did, however, put my important stuff in a chest, about 2 minutes earlier. Felt important, actually.
You should have had someone record it, and set it to dramatic music.

The ending of BioShock 2. I don't think your decisions have much effect on your noble actions but it still seemed very noble on my run. Oh and the dozens of times in online games where I threw myself into the line of fire to body-block the oncoming bullets and save a teammate. "Remember me as a hero..." Respawn in 5... 4...

Letting people with no understanding of EVs/Natures/IVs have a fair fight with me in Pokemon online.

It's hard to resist using stuff that would CRUSH THEM.
I have always been to afraid of all that stuff to ever try competitive pokemanz, so let me give thanks to you on their behalf.

In LA noire I accused the whom was clearly better off, not to solve the case but so that the poorer off guy had a chance at reconstructing his life and the other guy would no doubt be found innocent in court.... or perhaps I just sucked at the interrogations.

Mass Effect 1: I remember Me.

"No, no dreams. I promise."
"I... I think I'd like that..."

Heh. Most of the people reading this aren't going to know what I'm referring to.

How did you manage that in Dragon Age 2?

OT: Whizzing around in my fancy shmancy Ishkur in EVE online, noticed a Hulk using jetcans to mine. Stole all his ore, then assploded it. For some mad reason the Hulk set it's drones on me (which is basically suicide against the speedy drone specialist ishkur), I got him into hull and he opened a chat with me and requested a ransom. 90mil later he was free to go. Not many people honour ransoms lately =\

Karma is a stupid feature in gaming as cruelty is a matter of perspective and in real life it almost never boils down to just good vs evil.

I wouldn't say it was moral but the most... I don't know, 'honourable' thing I've done I suppose is go back to save Bill, Francis and Louis despite being able myself to escape in the APC in Blood Harvest, (Left 4 Dead if you didn't pick that up.) Louis was being held up in an upstairs room, Francis was down outside and Bill was caught downstairs in the farm house after being covered in bile. They were all clearly fucked but it's no fun if only one survivor gets away so I decided to go back and help. I got Francis up, managed to help Bill and we all got to Louis to help him just as he was knocked down. We spent the last minutes franticly fighting together towards the APC but we didn't quite make it. It was an epic final showdown though.

Fallout 3. A hobo asked me for water and without hesitation, I gave it to him. Literally under five seconds later, he asked for more. I shot him in the face for that.

Me and a friend left coach and rochelle to die while we escaped in the car. Oh wait, Kindest thing. Umm..... I wasted a perfectly good health kit on rochelle. Even though she died 10 mins later.

See, I've never had the urge to worry about that stuff ... except natures ... how I wish they got rid of those. Seriously, do you know how annoying it is (rhetorical question, I know you do) when you get a spc atk pokemon with an adamant nature? It's fine early game, but 30 levels later it is really starting to show.

OT: In InFamous 1 I ran down the street deliberately so I could heal people (I ended up curing about 20 people on one street, because I took my time instead of cutting hrough the alleys).

Since plot stuff is predictable Ima go with stuff I've done online, Battlefield Bad Company 2. If someone else is disarming in gold rush I jump around between them and the snipers to act as an annoying human shield.
The amount of times I've thrown myself into danger to revive someone is ridiculous.
The amount of times I've used C4 to destroy a tank (and normally me) before it can reach our line. I is hero.

But yeah, mostly just putting myself between enemy bullets and my team mates.

OT: Not killing innocents in Oblivion, oh lordy lord.
