Believe it or not, this weekend, I watched for the first time:

A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi.

I'm 33 years late for the party!
EEE!! You've just taken your first step into a larger world.
I'm so happy for you, it's never too late.

The Empire Strikes Back, Monday night with audio commentary to hear Irvin Kershner giggle about all the sparks in Echo Base, maythe Force be with him :(

PotC At World's End, last week because too many people on the internet have said they hated it. They're wrong.

I already knew a big part of the story thanks to the Family Guy parodies, and a lot of the lore too because of Kotor, but I really enjoyed the movies. Very impressive, too, for 70s-80s movies. I'll pick up the prequels once I'm done with my term papers.

I'm going to assume full movie and not bits and pieces I catch between flight paths on WoW.

1. Deathly Hallows (not writing the whole title specifically because I want to make this snide comment). It was good. Unfortunately I'm not mature enough to go into a movie with a bunch of wands without laughing. And there was one scene, a very serious scene, where the snow didn't fall down. I'm in Canada, I know snow doesn't fall up, and the closest thing they had was snow falling diagonally upwards.

2. Megamind. FAN! FUCKING! TASTIC! I'm sorry, I love super hero movies, I love animated movies, and I love Guns 'n Roses era music. This was the perfect movie for me.

3. Red. Wow that was a while ago... Anyway, good movie. Didn't give a flying fuck about the story, the love story throughout the thing was kind of irritating, but the action was pretty good. One of the coolest things I've seen in a movie is just how fast the first fight is finished.

Shadow of the Vampire - Great film.
2001: A Space Oddysey - It's brilliance goes without saying.
Twilight Zone, the Movie - Great retellings of classic stories.

In theaters, they would be (from most recent),
Karate Kid
Inception
Alice in Wonderland

I don't get to the theaters much here in Japan, but I used to go all the time in the States. Since moving to a new city three months ago, I don't even know where the nearest one is in this area.

As for ones I actually watched,

Public Enemies
9
Clash of the Titans (the new one)

I'm sorry, but as a Star Wars nerd, I am legally obligated to tell you that they're not nearly as good. It's not that they're terrible, it's just that the originals set the bar so high, and it's hard to live up to.

1. The Golden Compass (loved it, didn't like the *****-slap of an ending though)
2. To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar (Love this movie :p)
3. Red vs Blue Season 5 (it's considered a movie, the way the DVD presents it at least)

Human Centipede this movie is so bad that you almost want to watch it. It makes great conversation because of how terrible it is. FEED HER!!! that is the best part of the movie.
Dude, my friend told me about this a couple days ago, I nearly threw up just hearing about it, that movie is way fucked up
It so poorly made that the shock factor goes right out the window. That being said I have a hard time being grossed out at movies I usually just laught. Either way its not worth watching, for some reason another one is set to be released in 2011 so it must have some demented following.
Lol, my friend told me it's probably one of the nastiest movies she's ever seen, and she watches a ton of them. I refuse to watch it, I couldn't get through Wrong Turn 2 without having to turn my head and gag. I imagine that movie is way worse. And there's another coming out?! WTF! One was plenty!! And didn't the doctor dude die in the end?

1. Zombieland (Love it)
2. Home Alone. (Had it on for background noise, but a pretty cool film.)
3. Resident Evil. (Meh.)

Exit Through the Gift Shop (Amazing. Banksy is great, and Brainwash is clueless. Still, I think it's fake.)
The Station Agent (Excellent. Can't wait to see Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister.)
Adventureland (Pretty good. I'm a Jesse Eisenberg fan.)

Avatar (blue people one. Definitely enjoying it more now that its on TV than I did a year ago)

I'm gonna say this is pretty strange seeing how its kind of an obscure movie. Pretty nifty.

1)Deathly Hallows - Pretty good movie, suffered a bit from just being the (slower) first half
2)Megamind - Even better than I was expecting
3)Road to El Dorado - Easily one of the funniest movies I've ever seen

Counting the last three I saw in theaters:

Megamind: It was predictable, so the fuck what. I laughed my head off.
Harry Potter Ep7p1: It was really good.
Scott Pilgrim: Fuck and yes.

(I also saw Fight Club again a few nights ago, and that was also awesome.)
