Hiya escapists.

I normally don't make threads like these, but I'm so incredibly tired of seeing threads like "the last enemy you killed is now in your toilet" over and over again.

Surely, I am not the only one, so I figured posting a thread like this might get people to stop making these threads.

For discussion, I want to ask all of you: What do you think of these kinds of "Thread-fads"?

And also, please post any ideas you may have for "The last [blank] you [blank]ed is now [blank]" topics you may have, so maybe we'll exhaust the topic.

Not a jab at the original post either, just showing my disdain for one word answer thread fads.

Ok I have to bring this up in every counter thread so I'm just going to come out and say it. Making threads like this does not help in anyway shape or form. If you don't like those thread do what I do and don't post in them don't even view them just pretend they aren't there and they will evntually disappear. This is the exact same damn thing with those "Ask a" Threads I think Furburt started. Some people seen they got lots of views and replies and wanted a slice of that popularity in one of their threads.

OT: Personally I hate them. I find that after awhile they are done more and repeated more than Guitar Hero. Personally I find it ironic that people on the internet complain when game companies do this but it is alright to milk a thread template to death. I also do not enjoy nor do I post in them as I find they lack any real discussion value other than for the lulz.

I meant the fad of them but I probably phrased what I said wrong.

Any thread with Sex in the title becomes a thread fad within days. When there is one there will be many. It may start of fine with a "What's your Sexuality?" to a "What sexuality do you want?" to a "have you had sex?" to a "If a girl/guy offered you sex now would you have it?" again to "Why is sex so important?" to "IS sex so important?" switched to "Do you chose to not have sex?"

The list goes on [sub] and on, [sub]and on, [sub]and on, [sub]and on...[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]
