A joke about how damn stupid these threads usually are, just to get people posting random things.
Like this post.

You're trying to make a thread about nothing. Greater men had failed, but we can wait and see if you succeed.

Do super mutants have children? Suddenly, I feel slightly less guilty now. XD
Technically, there's contradicting evidence in the cannon about the matter.

This is just a chance to pause and reflect. Maybe share our stories and release our inner demons. After all, thanks to you, one less soldier/zombie/alien/etc will be returning home to it's family tonight.

How does this make you feel.

I suppose the point is the last enemy you killed in a game is now the last enemy you killed in real life. Huh.

Dude, that's deep.

I killed some slave of the sun god in a flashgame. He probably has a family, but he's a mindless drone (and, most likely, so are they) so nobody will miss him.

I just killed a Hunter in HL2:E2. That'll teach you for hurting my Alyx! I feel no guilt whatsoever.

hmm... was the last person I killed in saints row 2 a cop I ran over after spraying with poop dressed as a spartan, or that one guy I cut apart with a chainsaw dressed in a hotdog costumes?... Either way where are the kids now? I have an idea as a mime with satchel charges!

I killed... a Lobsterman from X-Com: Terror From The Deep.

I feel... totally awesome, because they don't go down easy; terrified, because where there is one there are many; and relieved, because I obviously have the means to deal with them.

They don't have children. They're cloned in a lab and programmed to kill. I feel no remorse.

Nice thread idea, by the way.

I'm not sure Striders have kids, but if they do, I'll probably have to kill them too. Will the cycle of violence ever end? Maybe when valve releases Half Life 3...

Umm...I was playing Doom 1. I killed a zombie. If he had kids, and he got back to them, he'd probably eat them, so I think I saved them. Oh, and he's already dead. So meh.

Heh.

I considered making a thread exactly like this. But I thought it might come across as a bit... churlish. So I'm glad someone else did it.

However, I think some people are still missing the point.
