Republic Commando. But I've played many other fun games, (Crysis, CoD4, GHIII), but RC was the latest.

In the middle of all Half- Lives 2, plus Mass Effect, Bioshock, and Super Mario Galaxy.

But the last great one was Portal, preceeded by Assassin's Creed.

Playing Stranglehold on Hardboiled = not fun.

Playing Mass Effect on Hardcore = Suprisingly enjoyable. Seriously. All the enimies aren't push overs making all the battles more exillerating. The Rachni are hard to kill. Being swarmed by them means instant death.

Also, Dead Rising never gets boring.

I make sure to only play games i know I'll enjoy. You might think this is narrow-minded but that won't alter my perspective.
Therefore all games i have played recently I enjoyed:
Sly 3
Star Wars Battlefront (The workhorse of my gaming mindset)
Sid Meier's Railroads
KoTOR
Makes perfect sense, actually. What else would you do, buy games you hear are pieces of crap?

Definitely Portal and Half-Life 2 plus the episodes. I spent literally a year or so without my PC since it died, and I had a crappy laptop that kept me going online (not that I'm complaining - any intarweb is better than no intarweb) but wouldn't run anything more complex than Baldur's Gate 2 with everything turned down.

I don't like FPSs on consoles since it feels like trying to aim at and shoot people with a two ton baby sealion rather in a gun, so I spent a year not playing any FPSs. finally, I bought The Orange Box, and it felt so good to be clubbing the living monkey out of headcrabs again that it so the most fun time I've had with a game for over a year.

I had fun with Mass Effect but the replay value is not as good as KOTOR. Same problem with Bioshock. If you have to pay $59.99 USD for a game then there better be a lot of replay value!

Hard to say. I rarely play a game that I don't have fun with at some point or other. But the last game I played that was fun from beginning to end was Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. I only picked it up recently but damn that's a fun game.

You're not wrong there! I got it for one of my birthdays a while back, and I couldn't put it down! So, naturally I picked up the DS version which I remember I also really enjoyed. Maybe not as much as the first though, can't remember...maybe I'll play through them again...bring on a third!

Mega Man X Collection - specifically Mega Man X5 as Zero.
Shadow Over Mystara - The Cleric owns. Straight and simple.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles - BOOM, FOREHEAD SHOT!

For me, the latest fun game would have to be uncharted : Drakes fortune. It was a great game, even though the puzzles could have been a touch harder. The combat was fun, the story was cool. The mutant things kinda didn't go so well, but you don't have to deal with them for most of the game, so i can forgive naughty dog for that. Also, the graphics are amazing, especially the animations, which used a special animation blending system developed by naughty themselves.

the last game i played that was flat out fun not taking into account good or bad was easily tenchu z, it's not as "great" as things like mass effect or portal, but it's a great way to kill time and for someone with personality traits of a serial killer it's just so satisfying without being such a "OMG STEALTH" game that you get ticked off. and honestly the "shh" factor is what keeps me coming back. you know, grabbing someone off guard duty and throwing them to the ground and just before you break their neck or stab a sword into them whispering "shhhhhh." very pleasing. honestly it's the simple games that provide the longest hours of play, i've put more hours into tenchu z or dynasty warriors than i have any other game i've ever played including oblivion or morrowind. so on pure fun factor tenchu z wins.

Definatly Mario Galaxy, nearly halfway through with luigi, and still not bored, even played all the way through with my mates on a different save with mario over a 4 day drink/smoke binge. Truly awesome and fun all the way through.

I don't know about PC gaming wise, played a LOT of games recently and none of them really bring back beautiful memories, kinda in a rut of playing cod4 multiplayer and SUPCOM, though the last PC game i probably really enjoyed was HL2:EP2, thought it was fantastic, but short.

On the DS front Geometry Wars Galaxies has eaten a lot of my time as well as (lol?) Super Princess Peach for some reason, that game is actually pretty damn coo', plus its got LOADS of enemies in it from older mario games that i havn't seen in years - like those dino;s from mario world that u have to stomp twice... awesome stuff
