Final Fantasy 7 on PSN. The first time I've played an FF game, aside from 30 minutes of playing FF 10, and I must say it's a very fun RPG, I can really see the appeal. I didn't expect much considering that it seems there's an equal amount of people who despise the game than there are people who love it.

However, I NEED to clear something up. Can someone PLEASE tell me why people associate Cloud with being EMO??? Because I'm 11 hours into the game and I've only heard him complain a couple times, otherwise he's a generally likable guy, not depressing AT ALL. So can someone clear that up? Does he get more angsty later on?

Because I'm 11 hours into the game and I've only heard him complain a couple times, otherwise he's a generally likable guy, not depressing AT ALL. So can someone clear that up? Does he get more angsty later on?

A lot of people have no clue what Emo is and most of the people who say that haven't seemed to actually have played FF7. In this case, they're kind of right, but not really. It would be like calling Mel Gibson or Health Ledgers character in The Patriot as Emo when their loved ones died. And no, that's not a spoiler.

I would understand Vincent, but then again, not really. He's moody, dark, and sad... but not emo.

Edit: Battlefield Bad Company is the last game I played. I'm actually playing it right now so, before that it was Rock Band 2, before that was Prince of Persia, and before that was FFT.

Oblivion with the Shivering Isles exp.

Sheogorath is easily the best character in that game, loved the shivering isles.

Actually I've only just started Oblivion (any quick tips are welcome). I heard a lot of good about it and I loved paying Fallout 3 (lots of people are saying that F3 is Obl. with guns) so as I have a bit of a soft-spot for the whole fantasy thing, so I decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did.

The dark brotherhood quests were always my favorite, every character I ever made was in the brotherhood.

Yeah, I am kind of hoping to get into either the Dark Brotherhood or the Thieves Guild - I always play as a stealth character when I can.
Quick question: If I join one guild can I later change to another i.e. if I go into the fighters guild can I later get into the thieves guild?

You can be a member of multiple guilds at any one time.
