Hot Tub Time Machine was the last comedy movie that I've seen that made me nearly die of laughter. Aside from that I lol'd at some bits from Thor.

For movies, I'd have to say Paul, loved that movie.
As for T.V there's a long list but I'd have to say How I Met Your Mother and Workaholics.
Honorable mention goes to Family Guy, even though it has been declining in the last couple seasons, it is still one of the funniest shows on T.V. in my humble (and often skewed) opinion.

Paul.
Damn good movie; Simon Pegg and Nick Frost still knows how to do comedic timing right in an age where the jokes are almost nothing but crude or are Scary Movie style references (non-punchlines).

The last one I saw was Kung Fu Panda 2, and it was good, but not great. Hoodwinked and Robin Hood Men in Tights were the last two great comedies I saw. And if you want to laugh, you should play Psychonauts.

I really don't like the look of that movie, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost stopped being funny after Hot Fuzz in my opinion.

Black Books for me, it's one of the very few comedies that has made me laugh out loud every single episode at least once.

Not going out is surprisingly funny too, haven't seen it in a while though.
