The Dark Knight, God I was bored over the past couple weeks and a two hour movie helps pass time a little bit.

The Departed
Very good movie. It has taken from a lot of movies, but has polished it to a near mirror shine. Besides the cock scene. That was just ridiculous and uncalled for.

Casino Royale. Found some old DVD of it lying around, and since I haven't watched it before I did, and it was acually pretty decent.

Snatch 2 weeks ago. I saw Fast and Furious last week, it was alright. Bit overated in my opinion though.

I saw Gran Torino last night. Was a lot better than I expected it to be (and I didn't go in thinking it would suck).
Yeah, I like how they built it up to be a standard Eastwood revenge movie, and then completely trounced those expectations. Great movie. That's the second most recent I say, first being Dark Knight (yeah, I saw it really late).

"À la folie... pas du tout" (essentially "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" in English). This is an absolutely incredible film that looks suspiciously like a chick flick at the beginning, but then as it goes on you realize (in my case with a great deal of satisfaction) that it is overwhelmingly NOT a chick flick but is actually just messing with you.
Funny, in my school's French Club, they watched that movie one Saturday last year. I didn't see it, but everyone who did came in the next Monday obsessed with "Char-Char!" That mean anything to you?

Well... in Quebecois (the dialect French they speak in Quebec) some people say "char" for "car." But I don't remember if that appears in the movie, since it takes place in Paris. Possibly it's something unrelated to the film?

There's a "Charles," but he's a really minor character. That could be it, though, since "Charles" in French is pronounce "sh-AH-rle" (Or perhaps I'm looking to much at the language. It could just be an inside joke they came up with.)

Dear Zachary. Saw it on Netflix. The weird thing is that I never planned on seeing it at all, I just needed to rid my thoughts of the other movie I'd watched the same night -- Waking Life. Waking Life is, without doubt, the worst movie I've ever seen. Sorry to get off topic, but dang, Waking Life is so terrible.

Watchmen. awesome

feel free to rage, I've never read the novel and I felt the experience of watching the movie was excellent. i'm going to read the novel one day, and I won't feel as if I've lost anything from having seen the movie first, so don't bother raging me about how much better the book is.

Gran Torino Watchmen crash and sky crawler

Gran Torino was eastwoods last film and it was quite enjoyable

Watchman was as close to the book as an movie could get (but i wish they used some else was the silk spector)

Crash was awesome i don't know how to classify it.

Sky crawlers was an anime movie that had a GREAT SOUNDTRACK very unique artstyle and a very slow but good plot. it a discussion movie for adults.
