If I'm not mistaken it was Zatoichi, a Japanese samurai flick directed by and starring my favorite entertainer:

Takeshi Kitano.

Man that guy knows how to break the rules of conventional action movie making!
I did really like how they didn't draw out the final battle. Blink and you've missed it.

I went on a Spy Kids marathon. I wish I only watched the first one...the others aren't as good.

3D was just pathetic.
personally I felt both the sequels were terrible (first was a movie even adults could watch and enjoy)

3D was the most disappointing for me because it had some REALLY awesome and cool elements that coulda been used to make a better movie

I mean really, a video game Matrix-style reality AND Sylvester Stallone doing some hilarious acting? sigh, coulda been something great in ANOTHER movie lol

That's cool, I saw Zatoichi myself, well, some of the early flicks.

Anyway, my moive would have to be The Road.

It was alright, gives a since of emotional drive, has the same appealing post-apocolyptic atmosphere. but I wish it added more detail, like what was the disaster? and why aren't any of the characters given any names?

other than that, it's a really good movie.

I just saw splice. It was... fucked up. Bigtime. Like... every possible ethical mistake a scientist could possibly make in the span of 2 hours. And then some. I don't know what I think of it other than that.

In Bruges - I actually didn't even know what kind of movie it was before I saw it, and "black comedy" was the last genre I had anticipated. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

I watched the Lion King again, and it was awesome as always. Jeremy Irons = best voice ever!

I just watched Hard Candy. Now I probably need therapy, I'm still crying, and I now have a crippling fear of Ellen Page.

Children of Men

Pretty good movie. Do you notice how pretty much every British near future sci-fi has the US being explicitly destroyed in the backstory somehow? That and the government always becomes fascist on 1984-esque levels.

Last movie I saw in theaters was Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I really like that too, it does a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the trilogy (especially its namesake) while maintaining an identity of its own.

Mine was Angels and Demons. I really love things you have to really focus to keep up with like National Treasure. I really liked the one before Angels and Demons, what's its name again?
That was The Da Vinci Code, I too really like that movie and its sequel. Never seen National Treasure though, I think I'll check out that one next.

I watched Burn After Reading on HBO the other day. It was insane, the story was crazy, and everything was unexpected. Pretty funny too

The last movie I went to see was the latest Shrek movie. And it's like this: "...sigh"
