Personality: Confident and boastful, some say arrogant of her skills. But she can back up the talk. As a general she must carry herself as a noble would. Away from prying eyes she will be more open. It is said she is without mercy to the enemy but known to few she really has a good heart. The duty of fidelity to the empire must come first though.
Bio: Calia was born to the House of the Rose. A very prominent High Guard family that have all served in the military for as long as the empire has stood. It was destined she would follow the same path. From a young age she was tutored for her career. Learning all the pomp and circumstance an officer would need. Once she was old enough she began to learn the art of swordsmanship.
Her childhood was always running on a schedule, giving little time for her to just be a kid. And it has hurt her for not having a regular upbringing. Such was the life of an officer to be.
When she was given her officers commission once finishing her schooling at the royal military academy she swore her oath of fidelity not in presence of a general, but to the king and queen themselves. Owing the honor to her houses name and service.
For twenty years now she has served as an officer in the Hipereon military, moving through the ranks to obtain the rank of general when her father passed. The title was accepted to honor his memory and service, but with grief and a damaged heart. She kept together though, in public.
When the war started she fought for action, but received little to no heed from the other generals and the royal family. It was far flung and was assumed that the young republics barbarism would be quelled. How wrong they were.
It spread like a flame to cloth, reaching across the continent. Two empires burned in it's shadows, forever lost. Perchance though it was though with the remaining might of the three empires that yet the tide could be pushed back. Sorely this proved to bear poor fruit and could only slow their advance to the present battle lines. Calia has been serving in the field since their forces mobilized. Truly putting her skills to the test.
