Exactly one year ago when I saw the first trailer to Gears Of War 3(YESSSSS!) and then realized the release date was April 2011(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!). Then, ten days ago I realized it was finally April 2011(YESSSSSSS) only to realize the release date was pushed back to September (No Goddammit, NOOOOOOO!). One minute later I checked the new trailer and had a look at the prospective game. Totally worth it. YESSSSSSSSSS!

Yesterday, for the first time in quite a while. Wandered downstairs to get a drink, and heard a familiar song. Couldn't quite place it, so I took my time downstairs. The song ended and randomed to the next one, which I did recognise. That made me shout "YESSSS!" audibly.

I beat Red in Pokemon Crystal with a completely underleveled team. After a really long, epic battle it was down to my Level 63 Typhlosion against his high-70 to low-80 Charizard. I kept hitting him with Fire Blasts and he kept hitting me with Flamethrowers, and Typhlosion was down to single digit health. I had been out of healing items for a while and chose one more Fire Blast, and Charizard used another Flamethrower. And missed. Typhlosion used Fire Blast. And got a critical hit. And beat Charizard. And I won.
My heart was pounding through the entire battle, and that last bit was more intense than anything I've ever played.

The last time I got laid I'm pretty sure I was thinking something to that effect during the denouement.
Also, someone asked me if I had the time, and that was my exact response, fist pump and all. They didn't stick around to find out what it was.

Two days ago on Monster Hunter Portable 3rd I was doing this mission where you have to slay two monsters. They weren't that difficult, but the fuckers kept running away. There was a 50 minute time limit on the mission and if you fail then you have to start all the way from the beginning. Monsters also don't have health bars so you can't be exactly sure when it will die. In the end 48 minutes had passed when I finally beat the last monster. That was a real YESSSSSSSSSS! moment for me
